For the comprehensive support of the Korean team in the 'Korea-Japan Super Match Ssireum vs Sumo', legendary ssireum figure Lee Man-ki and coach Lee Tae-hyun will step up.

In the preview for the Chuseok special 'Korea-Japan Super Match' airing on the 6th and 7th at 10 PM on TV Chosun, it was announced that "a very historic match between Korea and Japan will unfold," featuring representative athletes from both countries who will compete on the sand with their pride on the line.

The Korean champions, who have become the first national representatives in ssireum to compete against sumo wrestlers, expressed confidence, stating, "All the athletes representing ssireum have gathered." They also declared their determination, saying, "Since we wear the Taegeukgi on our chests, we will never lose against Japan."

The coach of the first national ssireum team is 'Prince of the Sand Ring' Lee Tae-hyun. As one of the legends in the ssireum world, Lee Tae-hyun will focus on philosophy, posture, and self-esteem rather than just techniques, serving as a mental support for the athletes.

Joining them will be 'strategic analyst' Kim Gu-ra, who will assist with commentary. A self-proclaimed sports enthusiast with sharp analytical skills and knowledge of tactics, Kim Gu-ra is recognized for his baseball commentary and will provide a unique perspective on ssireum with his extensive knowledge. The caster accompanying Kim Gu-ra will be 'broadcasting master' Jo Jeong-sik, known for his vivid expressions and passionate reactions. Kim Gu-ra has already acknowledged Jo Jeong-sik's unrestrained eloquence as 'ambitious'. Thus, the combination of Kim Gu-ra and Jo Jeong-sik has created a dream team of trusted commentator-caster duo.

Additionally, joining the ssireum team as a versatile care manager and a bridge character between Korea and Japan is Jung Joon-ha, who has a Japanese wife. Jung Joon-ha, known for his robust physique, is expected to showcase his ssireum skills as he faces off against Japanese 'pro' sumo wrestlers with unwavering spirit.

Crowning the event will be special director 'Emperor of the Sand Ring' and national ssireum hero Lee Man-ki. Having dominated the ssireum world by sweeping titles such as Baekdu Champion, Cheonha Champion, and Hallasan Champion, the 'legend' Lee Man-ki will reinforce the strategy of the ssireum team alongside coach Lee Tae-hyun.

With a fearsome ssireum national team fully equipped with support and strategy, curiosity arises about what kind of historic match will unfold against the Japanese 'sumo' representatives.
