Actor Rowoon mentioned his military enlistment.
On the 23rd, a production presentation for Disney Plus's new original series ‘Tangled’ was held at the Eliena Hotel located in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Rowoon, Shin Ye-eun, Park Seo-ham, Park Ji-hwan, Choi Gwi-hwa, Kim Dong-won, and director Choo Chang-min. Broadcaster Park Kyung-rim hosted the event.
Rowoon was originally scheduled to enlist in the military last July but postponed his enlistment date to October 27 through a re-examination. He will begin his military service as an active-duty soldier.
On that day, Rowoon said, “I think it’s a blessing that I could be part of ‘Tangled’. If I had seen the footage and materials from the Busan International Film Festival, I would have felt envious.” He added, “I thought it was my responsibility to promote the work I love diligently. I’m glad I can promote ‘Tangled’ well and then go to the military.”
He continued, “I will return from the military healthy. I love acting so please look forward to my future work.”
‘Tangled’, Disney Plus's first original historical drama series, is an action drama about the fates of those who dreamed different dreams to turn the chaotic world surrounding the Gyeonggang, where all the money and resources of Joseon gather, upside down and live like human beings.
In the drama, Rowoon plays the role of ‘Jang Si-yul’, a member of the gang at Mapo Naruteo.
‘Tangled’ has been officially invited to the ‘On Screen’ section of the 30th Busan International Film Festival and is gaining attention as one of the most anticipated series of the year.
Starting with the release of episodes 1 to 3 on the 26th, two episodes will be released every week, totaling 9 episodes.
