Legendary goalkeeper Kim Young-kwang revealed his love story with his wife.
On the 22nd, the SBS entertainment program 'Same Bed, Different Dreams Season 2 - You Are My Destiny' featured the legendary goalkeeper Kim Young-kwang and his wife Kim Eun-ji as a new couple.
On this day, Kim Young-kwang introduced his wife, who runs a dermatology clinic in Cheongdam-dong, saying, "She has both intelligence and beauty. She resembles Sandara Park and Yewon." He expressed his affection.
Recalling their first meeting, Kim Young-kwang said, "We met at a dinner with acquaintances, and I fell in love at first sight. I proposed within 24 hours of meeting her," surprising everyone.
He continued, "I thought, 'This is really the woman for me.' The next day, I invited her to the All-Star game to impress her. I won the popularity award, but after the first half, I couldn't make my move," he reminisced.
During their relationship, Kim Young-kwang, who was with Ulsan Hyundai at the time, traveled back and forth between Ulsan and Seoul to see his wife. He said, "At that time, there was no KTX, so I traveled 44,000km in a year," adding, "I was really anxious because it was a long-distance relationship," showcasing his romantic side.
Meanwhile, Kim Young-kwang and Kim Eun-ji got married in 2010 and have two daughters together.
