Kim Jong-kook talked about his future wife and child on 'Running Man'.
On the afternoon of the 14th, the members of the SBS variety show 'Running Man' participated in a 'Straightforward Race' where they had to answer 10 questions as written.
During the broadcast, the members teased Song Ji-hyo when she arrived at the opening location. Haha joked about Song Ji-hyo's hair, asking, "Did you fight with Yeo-eun yesterday?" and laughed.
At that moment, Yoo Jae-suk pointed out, "What’s that cupping mark on your back?" revealing Song Ji-hyo's back, causing the members to burst into laughter. Ji Suk-jin lamented, "Hey, cupping... No! Do we have to see the cupping marks on your back? You should have held that in! It's going out to the whole world with cupping marks!"
Yoo Jae-suk then complained, "Hey, it's just a week until Jong-kook's wedding, and you won't tell us who the bride is!" to which Kim Jong-kook replied, "Shut up! You keep talking about the date!" looking flustered. Yoo Jae-suk added, "Even Ronaldo reveals more than this. It's the world's biggest secret!"
After that, the members received a mysterious 10-question survey before the race officially began. The members expressed doubt, saying, "Don't we have to write this well?" but when the question "If you could receive pocket money from Yoo Jae-suk, what amount would you want?" appeared, everyone got greedy.
When Haha wrote "Apgujeong Hyundai Apartment," Yoo Jae-suk responded, "Is that pocket money? I'm going to cut it even more because that's ridiculous," looking bewildered. Yang Se-chan wrote 20% of the antenna shares, Ji Suk-jin wrote 1 million won, and Song Ji-hyo wrote 50 billion, which made everyone laugh.
After the 10 questions, the members headed to Cheonan to eat walnut cookies. The production team said, "We are heading to Cheonan, and you can drive or take the train." The members decided to go by train and headed to Suseo Station.
In the car, Yoo Jae-suk mentioned, "I once joked 12 years ago that I would stick a flounder tail in my handkerchief to go to Jong-kook's wedding."
Kim Jong-kook responded, "People really blew that up!" and Ji Suk-jin laughed, saying, "You should stick it in." When Yang Se-chan suggested, "You can just dry it," Yoo Jae-suk revealed a photo of himself wearing a specially made flounder-shaped handkerchief in his suit.
Additionally, Kim Jong-kook shared, "I took Sun-ho's son and Shori's daughter out, and the daughter was really comfortable," showing his doting father side by saying, "The daughter is pretty and easygoing."
He then added, "Men are wild... I must have at least one child," to which Yoo Jae-suk laughed, "Hey! You're a man too!"
They safely boarded the train and headed to Cheonan. When Kim Jong-kook saw Ji Suk-jin's clothes, he asked, "Does Hyun-woo not say anything about your clothes?" Ji Suk-jin replied, "Hyun-woo doesn't match with me! He matches perfectly with you! I can't wear shoes like this because it's embarrassing," to which Kim Jong-kook complimented, "He looks like my son. He's cool."
He then expressed, "If my son likes luxury brands later, I think I would really hate to see that. Who does that kid take after?" showing his prospective dad side.
When Yoo Jae-suk asked if his parents liked his fiancée, Kim Jong-kook shyly replied, "Yes... well... they like her, I guess." Yang Se-chan then commented, "Your mother might feel sad now that you have a bride," to which Haha added, "But it's fun." Haha continued, "I thought I would meet someone who really loves sports, but that's not the case. I really love drinking, but my wife can't drink a drop. So my dream is to sit together and have a drink. But this is how it goes," emphasizing the importance of balance in marriage.
At that moment, Ji Yeo-eun spilled a lot of snacks on the floor, and Kim Jong-kook said, "I'll clean it up. When I have a baby later, I have to do everything," as he picked up the snacks with his hands. Yoo Jae-suk looked at him fondly, saying, "Jong-kook is really dreaming big."
Next was Ji Yeo-eun's dating advice. Kim Jong-kook advised from a married perspective, saying, "If you're looking for someone to marry, there’s no one left now."
Upon arriving in Cheonan, the members got dressed as Lion Boys. To achieve the idol look, they stopped by a market to buy clothes, and Yoo Jae-suk, Ji Suk-jin, Haha, Song Ji-hyo, and Ji Yeo-eun were selected as members of Lion Boys.
Afterward, the members headed to a restaurant known for its blood sausage in Byeongcheon, Cheonan. It turned out that this place was run by Lee Hyori's aunt. The owner said, "My mother is her aunt, and I am her cousin," and the members remarked, "Oh, Hyori is really here," noting the similar features.
After finishing their meal, the members headed to the city to fulfill the sentence "Give compliments while slapping Yu-bin." They searched everywhere for Yu-bin and found her just before 3:15 PM.
Ji Yeo-eun lightly touched Yu-bin's cheek and said, "I hope you establish yourself as the best ballerina and become very famous. A global hero," to which Yu-bin replied, "I hope to see you for a long time."
The members completed all missions at 2:49 PM, 11 minutes before 3 PM, and were able to leave without any penalties.
