Park Seo-jin, who was invited to Seoul Fashion Week, sought help from Kang Kyun-sung for fashion and walking assistance.
In the KBS2 broadcast of ‘Salim Nam Season 2’ on the afternoon of the 13th, Park Seo-jin prepared for Seoul Fashion Week by trying on clothes from Kang Kyun-sung.
On this day’s broadcast, Park Seo-jin appeared as the first Salim Nam. Meeting Ji Sang-ryeol, Baek Ji-young, and Eun Ji-won, Seo-jin hinted that she had good news. Seo-jin said, “I’m going to Fashion Week. I’m going to walk the blue carpet!” announcing that it would be her first Fashion Week.
When Eun Ji-won asked, “Are you really interested in fashion?” Seo-jin confidently replied, “I dress well.” Eun Ji-won then joked, “Isn’t your walking style strange? You might as well use crutches!” making everyone laugh.
Seo-jin then showcased her runway skills, and Baek Ji-young immediately pointed out, “Can’t you not do your hands like that?” highlighting a flaw.
When Park Seo-jin asked if there were any mentors she could recommend, Baek Ji-young suggested, “Kim Bum-soo, Yoon Jong-shin, and Kang Kyun-sung dress well. Would you like to contact them and meet?” offering to connect her. When Ji Sang-ryeol asked if she had a style like GD, Seo-jin mistakenly said “Rat zodiac,” causing laughter. Sang-ryeol teased, “Are you going to do Mickey Mouse? Don’t go! I’ll just cancel too.”
Later, Seo-jin visited Kang Kyun-sung and Kim Yong-myung based on the recommendations from Baek Ji-young and Ji Sang-ryeol. However, Seo-jin expressed disappointment, saying, “I’m disappointed with your fashion,” after seeing their outfits. Kang Kyun-sung mentioned, “I’ve been invited to Fashion Week about 10 times,” which increased his likability.
After some self-promotion, Kim Yong-myung and Kang Kyun-sung taught Seo-jin how to walk. As Seo-jin walked while staring at the camera, Kang Kyun-sung remarked, “This friend is missing a screw too? I understand why mothers like her. It stimulates maternal instincts. You just want to keep helping her!” as he became captivated by Seo-jin’s charm.
However, Seo-jin’s walking skills did not improve at all, and a frustrated Kim Yong-myung shouted, “Are you the queen of Joseon?” Seo-jin replied, “That’s why Ji-won hyung told me to just walk with crutches,” giving up. Kyun-sung added, “Seo-jin, your body line is beautiful, so I want to try dressing you in my clothes,” not giving up.
Later, Kang Kyun-sung showed her around his house, and Kim Yong-myung was surprised to see a motorcycle helmet, saying, “You really like motorcycles, huh?” Seo-jin replied, “Do you know why Kyun-sung hyung likes motorcycles? He rides them when he’s feeling overwhelmed to calm down,” making everyone laugh.
Kim Yong-myung and Park Seo-jin went up to the rooftop, admiring the city view and Namsan Seoul Tower.
Entering the clothing room, Kim Yong-myung and Kang Kyun-sung began picking out clothes that suited Seo-jin. When Kyun-sung pulled out clothes passed down from his father, he said, “This is really pretty. I really like clothes like this,” and dressed Seo-jin.
Later, Seo-jin chose a luxurious-looking jacket from Kang Kyun-sung and asked to borrow it for an entertainment award. Kyun-sung replied, “What do you mean borrowing? I should give it to you as a gift,” and directly gave the clothes to Seo-jin. Seo-jin commented, “That was really hard, you know? I think it would be better to learn alone at home,” sharing her thoughts after the mentoring session.
The second Salim Nam featured Lee Min-woo’s family. Min-woo’s mother said, “I’ve prepared the food with care. Just sit still. Min-woo, you follow me,” taking good care of her daughter-in-law.
As the mother-in-law set the table lavishly, the prospective bride expressed her gratitude, saying, “It looks delicious~ Thank you for your hard work.” The daughter, after tasting the soybean paste soup, gave a thumbs up but looked for water, possibly due to the spiciness of the red pepper powder.
When her mother and father recommended spicy dishes like marinated crab and seasoned perilla leaves, the bride, who doesn’t handle spicy food well, hesitated but still ate. Eventually, the bride neutralized the spiciness with rice.
Seeing her daughter-in-law’s pregnant belly, Min-woo’s mother comforted her, saying, “It must be hard even just sitting still,” holding her hand. Later, Min-woo’s mother gifted blankets and pillows she had bought for the new family. The daughter also smiled brightly while resting her head on the pillow gifted by her grandmother.
The prospective bride, who called her biological mother, revealed her feelings in an interview, saying, “I’ve only been in Korea for a few hours, but I already felt emotional and thought I missed my mom.”
When Min-woo’s mother opened the closet to put away clothes for the prospective bride and daughter, she became frustrated, saying, “Didn’t you see earlier? There’s no space to put anything. It’s embarrassing to see my daughter-in-law! Nothing is ready!” Min-woo then said, “Speak quietly! They’ll hear everything!”
Min-woo’s mother added, “Hurry and buy a drying rack for laundry tomorrow. We need to think of everything one by one.”
Min-woo replied, “I’ll buy everything we need tomorrow, like a drying rack and a table. Anyway, I understand. I’ll take the prospective bride out for some fresh air,” and left the house.
Min-woo and the prospective bride went to a nearby market to find something to eat. While feeding her the tteokbokki she liked, Min-woo asked, “Were you not too uncomfortable?” The bride replied, “It was uncomfortable when you kept telling me to sit still while cleaning up the food. Please tell your mother that the closer I get to the end of my pregnancy, the more I need to move.”
Min-woo said, “Actually, I haven’t finished cleaning the room yet. While cleaning, I realized there are many things my daughter needs,” feeling sorry. The bride responded, “Let’s take our time and go shopping together,” expressing her desire to create a happy home with the family.
