Former speed skater Lee Sang-hwa revealed the behind-the-scenes story of her marriage to her husband Kangnam.
On the broadcast of tvN's 'Yoo Quiz on the Block' on the 3rd, the couple Kangnam and Lee Sang-hwa appeared as guests.
On that day, Yoo Jae-suk opened by saying, "Kangnam's mother strongly advised against the marriage of Kangnam and Lee Sang-hwa."
Kangnam said, "My mom strongly advised against it. Lee Sang-hwa is a national representative, and I feel like I'm just enjoying life doing entertainment, so my mom thought, 'They don't match well.' So she went to Lee Sang-hwa and said, 'Kangnam is quite playful, and it will be tough if you get married. And why are you dating someone like Kangnam when you're a national representative?'"
Lee Sang-hwa laughed and said, "She met me separately and said, 'Don't date our Kangnam.' When I asked why, she said, 'He has brought honor to the country, so why are you dating my son? Find someone better.'"
