Singer Yulhee confessed that a shaman predicted her divorce from her ex-husband Choi Min-hwan.
In the second pre-released video of the 9th episode of MBN's 'Let's Go' Season 5, actress Park Eun-hye, Jung Ga-eun, and Yulhee appear to share unique episodes they experienced as single moms.
While MC Ahn Jung-hwan and Hong Hyun-hee were having a conversation with the single mom trio, Yulhee wiped her tears, saying, "Since I don't have any married friends around me, I've never talked about divorce." Park Eun-hye, who was looking at Yulhee warmly, said, "As entertainers, even with close friends, we can't talk about upsetting things and pretend everything is okay. Then it bursts out all at once," adding, "I really empathize with the fact that you had no one to talk to."
Jung Ga-eun, who was comforting Yulhee, said, "I want to talk when it's hard, but even with close friends, I don't want to impose my feelings on them without knowing their situation," and shared, "I called a place that does fortune-telling over the phone. For example, if you charge 100,000 won and have a 30-minute consultation, a certain amount is deducted."
Jung Ga-eun added, "Since they don't know who I am, I feel like I can speak comfortably. It seems like just hearing a few comforting words helps," recommending her unique method of comfort, which brought laughter.
Hearing this, Yulhee revealed, "This is the first time I'm saying this, but I waited a year and a half to meet a famous shaman, and when I went with my ex-husband, they predicted (the divorce)."
She continued, "The shaman asked, 'Have you had a recent funeral?' At that time, my ex-husband's grandmother had passed away three weeks prior," and added, "There could be a funeral, which is also a sign of separation, but you have a strong sign of separation coming. If there is a funeral, your separation sign will be okay. But if not, it seems like it will be your separation sign.' It was July then, and we divorced in September," shocking everyone.
Listening to this, Park Eun-hye said, "I took my child out when they were 6 years old, and they made friends at a new kindergarten. The child's mom was a really nice person. But then I got a call from my manager asking, 'Do you know so-and-so?' So I said, 'Yes, they are friends with my kids,' and the manager said, 'Their dad is the representative of a certain media outlet,'" which shocked everyone.
Park Eun-hye confessed a story about a loyal acquaintance who hid her divorce, saying, "I told the child's mom the truth, but she went to her husband and said, 'Just try to write an article.' So in the end, the divorce article didn't come out."
