Former comedian Kim Joo-yeon shared the reason she became a shaman.

In the episode of JTBC's 'Can't Be No. 1, Season 2' aired on the 21st, the couple Paeng Hyun-sook and Choi Yang-rak, along with Choi Seol-ah and Jo Hyun-min, visited Kim Joo-yeon, who had become a shaman.

On that day, Kim Joo-yeon said, "It's been a while since I became a shaman," and added, "I suffered from a divine illness. I bled for two years and suddenly suffered from high fever. I couldn't eat or sleep for two months. I lost 12 kg like that."

She continued, "I was hospitalized. My heart rate was 20. They put on a diaper and wouldn't let me go to the bathroom. They were afraid I would die from shock," shocking everyone.

Kim Joo-yeon also mentioned that she performed Nureum-gut to avoid receiving the divine call. She revealed, "I spent 100 to 200 million won on Nureum-gut. But it had no effect."

Additionally, Kim Joo-yeon said, "The last words that came out of my mouth were, 'If not you, I will take your father.' In the end, I decided to receive the divine call. The shaman I met at the shrine said, 'If you hadn't come today, your father would have been in trouble.'

Meanwhile, 'Can't Be No. 1, Season 2' airs every Thursday at 8:50 PM.
