‘My Child's Romance’ has heightened expectations for the broadcast by revealing the cast's biased reactions.
Ahead of its premiere on the 20th, the new variety show ‘My Child's Romance’, co-produced by tvN STORY and T-Cast E Channel, has released a parent version poster and a preview for the first episode.
‘My Child's Romance’ is a program that tells the story of parents observing their children in romantic relationships and the growth of their children through love.
In the released parent poster, the cast members are seen brightly smiling in poses similar to their children. Lee Jong-won, Lee Jong-hyuk, Park Ho-san, Ahn Yoo-sung, Lee Cheol-min, Kim Dae-hee, Jo Gap-kyung, and Jeon Hee-cheol, parents of Lee Seong-jun, Lee Tak-soo, Park Jun-ho, Ahn Seon-jun, Lee Shin-hyang, Kim Sa-yun, Hong Seok-joo, and Jeon Su-wan, are smiling brightly, resembling their children who look like protagonists from a youth movie, conveying warmth and nostalgia to viewers.
The caption “The love story of my child who resembles me” above the parents' images leaves a different, deeper impression compared to the ‘My Child’ version poster, raising expectations for a previously unseen heartwarming healing romance.
The preview for the first episode, released alongside, features parents facing their children's romances with a ‘ZERO objectivity’ storm of reactions that catches the eye. Parents gathered in one place to witness their children's love lives express their excitement and nervousness, saying, “What style will it be? I'm a bit curious,” “Oh, I feel like my heart is going to burst,” and “I really can’t watch this.”
With the appearance of the ‘my child’ who wouldn’t hurt even if placed in one’s eye, Lee Cheol-min proudly states, “This is my daughter,” while Kim Dae-hee reacts defensively to compliments about other children, saying, “What about my child? Is my child not good enough?” eliciting laughter with their zero-objectivity, biased, real tension reactions.
