Actor Jung Il-woo revealed his connection with chef Lee Yeon-bok.

On the 7th, KBS2’s ‘Problematic Men in the Rooftop Room’ featured guests Lee Tae-ran and Jung Il-woo.

On this day, Jung Il-woo shared, “When I was young, my parents worked, so I often had to eat alone at home. My maternal grandmother is an excellent cook. We make 200 heads of kimchi and prepare all our own sauces,” which caught attention. He also mentioned that he became more interested in cooking after taking on a chef role in a drama and participating in a Chinese cooking survival show.

Jung Il-woo stated that he is a disciple of Lee Yeon-bok, saying, “I contacted Lee Yeon-bok to learn how to use a wok and Chinese cooking methods for my chef role, and he told me to come right away. When I went to Yeonhui-dong, Lee Yeon-bok taught me personally.” He added, “I met Lee Yeon-bok not long ago. He remembered everything. I was very grateful.”

Meanwhile, ‘Problematic Men in the Rooftop Room’ airs every Thursday at 8:30 PM.
