Yong-sik Lee revealed that he has closed down three times.
On the afternoon of the 3rd, during the KBS2 entertainment program 'The Boss's Ears Are Donkey Ears' (hereafter 'Sadangui'), Yong-sik Lee shared the behind-the-scenes of his closures.
On that day’s broadcast, Yong-sik said, "I opened a 265-pyeong comedy theater in the expensive Cheongdam-dong intersection because I felt sorry for my juniors who were losing their programs." The panel responded, "Oh, I remember!" in surprise.
Yong-sik added, "On the 8th day after opening, COVID-19 hit. I had 15 employees. I told them to take a little break after paying their salaries first. I went to the theater alone for a year, thinking it would work out someday."
He continued, "It got to the point where the landlord told me to wrap things up. I even offered to give the equipment to the next person who wanted to run a business. I closed the door without looking back."
'Sadangui' can be seen every Sunday at 4:45 PM on KBS2.
