Actress Kim Geum-soon confessed to living as a "geese mom."

In the broadcast of KBS2's 'New Product Launch Pyeon Restaurant' on the 1st, Kim Geum-soon's daily life was depicted.

On that day, Kim Geum-soon said to her eldest son, who is moving out to live independently, "My eldest son is now an adult, and my second son is also moving out, so I told him, 'Hurry up and go out. It's uncomfortable.'" The eldest son also laughed and said, "I’m fine with it. My living pattern is different from mom's, so I said, 'I understand. I will go out. I'm uncomfortable too.'"

It turned out that Kim Geum-soon's home was a one-room apartment with a small living room. Kim Geum-soon stated, "Even if I live in a semi-basement one-room or take out all the deposits to live in short-term rental housing, it's important for my children to study abroad. It's important to travel and gain experiences, and I hope they can live the life they want."

She added, "I think I learned a lot from traveling. There are so many things to learn from talking to completely unknown people in countries with different cultures, so I tell my children, 'Go outside. Travel a lot.'"

The eldest son remarked, "Mom is a very open person. She often thinks about 'how can I support my sons to go on the right path.' When I became really passionate about basketball in middle school and told my mom, 'I really want to play basketball,' she actually sent me to the U.S."

In response, Kim Geum-soon said, "I was a geese mom. I lived in a study room, a one-room apartment, and stayed at friends' houses. I took out all the deposits to send them." She continued, "Rather than dedication, I think it's a natural obligation that a mother has. It's not easy to move forward without support and encouragement, right?" which drew admiration.

When Lee Yeon-bok said, "That's amazing. Alone in Korea," Kim Geum-soon replied, "I didn't do it all by myself. My ex-husband and my friends helped me a lot during that time. I didn't do anything alone." She added, "What if I can't live in a good house? I'm living happily and diligently."
