‘Glamorous Days’ has released a comprehensive teaser video announcing the start of its tumultuous journey.
KBS2's new weekend drama ‘Glamorous Days’ (directed by Kim Hyung-seok, written by So Hyun-kyung) tells a family melodrama story of generational empathy about the glamorous days that everyone experiences, whether in the present, past, or future, each with different meanings.
The released comprehensive teaser video begins with Ji Eun-oh (played by Jeong In-sun) shyly confessing, "I like you, senior." Lee Ji-hyeok (played by Jeong Il-woo) firmly states, "Marriage is not a must in this era." The contrasting attitudes of the two hint at the rocky romance that will unfold, while Eun-oh unabashedly expresses her honest feelings and continues her unrequited love for Ji-hyeok. Park Sung-jae (played by Yoon Hyun-min) reveals strange feelings towards Eun-oh.
A cheerful scene unfolds as the family celebrates Lee Sang-cheol's (played by Cheon Ho-jin) retirement. In contrast, Sang-cheol, while watching the fluttering flower petals, expresses his bittersweet feelings with the words, "What a beautiful fall," leaving a deep aftertaste. Ji-hyeok throws in his resignation, and Lee Ji-wan (played by Son Sang-yeon) becomes unemployed after pushing a gym member, while Lee Soo-bin (played by Shin Soo-hyun) is looked down upon for being unemployed, vividly portraying the realistic struggles of different generations and evoking empathy.
The cheerful atmosphere soon shifts to tension. The scene of Jo Ok-rye (played by Ban Hyo-jung) startled by a sudden bundle of cash and Sang-cheol scolding his wife Kim Da-jung (played by Kim Hee-jung) foreshadows the onset of family conflict. The confrontation between Ji-hyeok and Sang-cheol intensifies the generational clash, heightening the drama's tension.
At the end of the video, Ji-hyeok and Eun-oh each appear receiving shocking proposals, depicting unpredictable developments. Eun-oh is commissioned by Ko Seong-hee (played by Lee Tae-ran) for an extravagant amount for interior design, while Ji-hyeok receives a shocking proposal for a "marriage without love." The choices of these individuals standing at a crossroads in life amplify curiosity about the repercussions on future developments.
‘Glamorous Days’ will premiere on August 9 at 8 PM as a follow-up to ‘Eagle Five.’
