The 'Dokkabz' are embarking on their first-ever trip to China, specifically to the port city of 'Xiamen'.
In the 10th episode of the Channel S variety show 'Nidon Naesan Dokkab Tour 4' (co-produced by Channel S and SK Broadband), which airs on August 2 at 9 PM, Kim Dae-hee, Kim Jun-ho, Jang Dong-min, Yoo Se-yoon, and Hong In-kyu will experience unique cultures in 'Xiamen', one of China's seven economic special zones and a beautiful port city.
After successfully completing the 'Hometown Special', the 'Dokkabz' will begin selecting their next travel destination. Jang Dong-min suggests, "Actually, I've recently wanted to visit a country. My mother went to China recently and said it was wonderful." Various cities are mentioned, from 'Shanghai' to 'Hainan' and 'Harbin', and Yoo Se-yoon boldly declares, "If we go to China, I'll take a lot of MZ photos for you."
In response, Kim Dae-hee quickly retorts, "You take them but never post them on your SNS, right?" causing everyone to burst into laughter. Amidst their playful banter, the 'Dokkabz' decide to each write down two cities they want to visit and randomly draw to determine their travel destination. As a result, Hong In-kyu's choice of 'Xiamen' is selected. Upon hearing the unfamiliar city name, Kim Jun-ho tilts his head and asks, "Where exactly is Xiamen?" while Hong In-kyu cheerfully responds, "Even if it's a bit unfamiliar, we can explore it!"
After finishing up, they board a plane and fly for three hours to arrive in 'Xiamen'. Immediately, Hong In-kyu says, "This is the latest trendy item these days!" and recommends a 'lotus leaf mask' he bought locally as a 'heat-fighting item' to the 'Dokkabz'. However, Kim Jun-ho is horrified by Hong In-kyu's appearance in the 'lotus leaf mask' and scolds him, saying, "Let's stop with the forced setups."
Unfazed, Hong In-kyu throws a direct comment at him, "Jun-ho hyung, didn't your character doll (Machu) fail?" Kim Jun-ho retorts, "It didn't fail... it's still alive," to which Hong In-kyu explains, "There's a 'Kim Jun-ho of China' targeting a market worth several trillion, and his doll business has become a huge success, making fifty trillion in revenue."
He then adds, "My daughter Cha-yoon insisted that we buy it. Let's go get it!" leading everyone to a department store. Kim Jun-ho asks, "What is Labubu? Machu is cuter," but after confirming Labubu's global popularity, he quickly changes his stance and vows, "I need to benchmark Labubu."
Will Hong In-kyu be able to score the trendy Labubu doll, a hot item among the MZ generation, in Xiamen, China? The first travelogue of the 'Dokkabz' in China can be seen in the 10th episode of Channel S's 'Nidon Naesan Dokkab Tour 4', airing on August 2 at 9 PM.
