The reasons for divorce among the single men and women were revealed on ‘Dolsing Singles 7’.

In the episode aired on the 27th, the 10 single men and women disclosed their reasons for divorce, followed by intense competition during jogging dates and random dates.

On the first night at the ‘Dolsing House’, the singles took turns sharing their first piece of information, the ‘reasons for divorce’. Hee-jong stated, “I married my direct supervisor when I was a fresh graduate, but I poured a lot of energy into work due to economic responsibilities. However, my partner couldn’t understand this, and we eventually divorced due to differences in values.”

Following that, Seong-woo confessed, “Economic reasons were significant for me. From the beginning, I lived with my in-laws, and I had to support the livelihoods of four people, including my parents-in-law, which meant I worked from early morning until late at night. Moreover, after going bankrupt a year and a half after starting my business, I ended up in debt and worked 12 hours a day. It was so hard that when I got home, I just wanted to rest, but no one understood that. Eventually, after a separation, I got divorced.”

In the heavy atmosphere, Ji-woo said, “We fought a lot right after getting married. Then one day, my partner announced the breakup, and a month or two after the divorce, I found out that my ex-husband had set up a household with a woman in the house we used to live in. It turned out that the married woman was a colleague of my ex-husband whom I had suspected all along, and she used to call me ‘sister’. I have never shared this story with anyone, including my family,” evoking sympathy.

Next, Ah-reum said, “While I was having a smooth marriage, something happened that made me lose trust in my ex-husband, and I couldn’t shake that thought, which led to the divorce.” Do-hyung recalled, “After getting married, I had to go abroad, and we started our newlywed life together, but we fought a lot due to various issues. However, since we could only rely on each other, that became a trap,” reminiscing about the difficult times during the pandemic while living abroad.

Myung-eun tearfully shared, “After marriage, something happened that caused us to fight every day. I tried everything I could to maintain the relationship with my ex-husband, but my health deteriorated rapidly, so I informed both our parents and decided to divorce.”

In the heavy atmosphere, In-hyung revealed, “When we got married, there was a significant difference in the economic status of both families. My parents supported us in many ways. Then, due to work, I became a weekend couple, and one day when I got home earlier than usual, my wife didn’t greet me and seemed annoyed. I could also sense the presence of another man,” shocking everyone. Dong-geon also shared, “I lost trust when I found out that my ex-wife was secretly contacting other men while hiding the fact that she was married, which led to our divorce before we even had a wedding.”

Ye-won revealed that she divorced due to conflicts with her mother-in-law, who disapproved of her since their dating days, and finally, Su-ha confessed, “Even as the conflicts with my mother-in-law intensified, my husband didn’t support me,” admitting to issues with her in-laws during her marriage. The heartbreaking stories of the ten individuals prompted the five MCs, Lee Hye-young, Yoo Se-yoon, Lee Ji-hye, Eun Ji-won, and Lee Da-eun, to express their hopes, saying, “I hope only happy things happen from now on,” and “I wish you find new love.”

After the revelation of the ‘reasons for divorce’, the ten individuals received a notice message for a ‘6 AM jogging date’ and moved busily. In particular, the single men set out to find out whether their crushes would join the jogging date at 6 AM or stay home.

In-hyung asked Myung-eun, his ‘first impression number one’, if she would join the jogging, to which Myung-eun replied, “I’ll see how it goes.” Do-hyung and Dong-geon also asked the same question to Myung-eun, and after some thought, she said, “I’ll go,” prompting everyone to quickly go to bed. After 2-3 hours of sleep, In-hyung quietly got into the ‘jogging date’ vehicle when his roommate and ‘rival’ Dong-geon didn’t wake up even with the alarm. Following him, Do-hyung and Su-ha got into the car, and when Myung-eun didn’t show up, In-hyung and Do-hyung felt disappointed. Su-ha also wore a bittersweet smile when Dong-geon, whom she had been waiting for, didn’t attend the jogging date.

Amidst the awkwardness and excitement, those who returned from jogging had breakfast prepared by Dong-geon while chatting. At this time, Do-hyung and In-hyung shared their intentions to “keep pursuing their number one in their hearts,” hinting at a love triangle war over Myung-eun.

After breakfast, a notice was delivered stating, “There will be a ‘random date’ where the single women choose their favorite ‘animal keyword’ to match.” Here, Su-ha chose the honest golden retriever, Ji-woo chose the passionate leopard, Ah-reum chose the macho maltese, and Ye-won chose the positive white horse, while Myung-eun, the ‘first impression killer’, appeared last and picked the remaining ‘wholesome otter’.

The five MCs watching this remarked, “Myung-eun is the type to make you anxious~.” Shortly after, the matching results were revealed: Myung-eunXDo-hyung, Ah-reumXDong-geon, Ji-wooXSeong-woo, Ye-wonXHee-jong, and Su-haXIn-hyung were set to go on ‘random dates’. Among them, Ji-wooXSeong-woo had chosen each other as their ‘first impression number one’, and they were connected not only through the breakfast date but also the ‘random date’, receiving cheers of “Is this fate?” from the five MCs.

The first ‘random date’ and ‘job reveal’ of the single men and women is scheduled to air in the third episode of MBN’s ‘Dolsing Singles 7’ on August 3 at 10 PM.
