Lee Joo-yeon, a former member of the group After School, revealed behind-the-scenes stories related to her debut.

On the 22nd, SBS's entertainment program ‘Dolsing Po Man’ featured guests Choi Jin-hyuk, Park Ki-ryang, Lee Joo-yeon, and Shin Goo-jin.

Lee Joo-yeon gained fame in the past as one of the 'original top five beauties' alongside Goo Hye-sun and Park Han-byul, and she also worked as a model for various advertisements such as school uniforms and MP3 players before her debut with After School.

Recalling that time, Lee Joo-yeon said, “By chance, I was introduced to the CEO and director who were in charge of After School and my sister Son Dam-bi. I thought I couldn't do it because I couldn't sing or dance, so I ran away saying I had no talent, but they kept chasing after me.”

She continued, “After School was not a pretty concept group like Girls' Generation; it was a very tough concept. I was someone who couldn't do that, but after two or three months of them following me, at some point, I found myself dancing next to Kahi unnie,” which drew laughter.

When Lee Sang-min asked, “You might have been hit by Kahi back then. The dance members in the group pay a lot of attention to that,” Lee Joo-yeon replied, “That's a no comment,” making the scene burst into laughter.
