Announcer Kim Jae-won is leaving 'Morning Yard'. His successor is Announcer Park Cheol-kyu.

On the 22nd, the production team of KBS1's 'Morning Yard' announced, "Announcer Kim Jae-won recently decided to take honorary retirement and conveyed his intention to leave the program. After much consideration, the production team decided to respect this."

They added, "We judged that Announcer Park Cheol-kyu's positive energy and empathy align well with the values pursued by 'Morning Yard', and through a new collaboration with the existing MC, Announcer Um Ji-in, we will provide viewers with a fresher and more beneficial morning."

Announcer Park Cheol-kyu has previously hosted programs such as 'Who Does It Better' and 'KBS News Plaza'. Recently, he has shown stable hosting skills and excellent quick thinking through the Friday segment of 'Morning Yard'. He has demonstrated strengths in communicating with viewers through his warm empathy and witty remarks, raising expectations.

Newly appointed MC Park Cheol-kyu stated, "It is an honor to join the nation's favorite morning program, but I also feel a heavy sense of responsibility. I will do my best to follow in the footsteps of my senior Kim Jae-won and warmly convey the stories of our lives every morning with Announcer Um Ji-in. I hope you will watch over us with warm eyes."

The 'Morning Yard' created by the newly joined Announcer Park Cheol-kyu and Announcer Um Ji-in will be broadcast on August 4th at 8:25 AM.
