Kim Young-kwang shared his thoughts on appearing in ‘Trigger’.

On the morning of the 22nd, a production presentation for the Netflix series ‘Trigger’ was held at Hotel Naru in Seoul, attended by director Kwon Oh-seung and actors Kim Nam-gil, Kim Young-kwang, Park Hoon, and Gil Hae-yeon.

Kim Young-kwang said, “The character Moon Baek was fresh, and I was curious about how this free-spirited friend would change. Since he is a character who asks questions to people, I thought I had to take on this role.”

He continued to describe Moon Baek, saying, “One day, he suddenly appears as a mysterious helper in front of Lee Do. He is a free-spirited character. I look forward to showing a slightly different side of him later on.”

Additionally, when asked about his experience playing the extroverted Moon Baek as an actual introvert, Kim Young-kwang replied, “At first, it was daunting, but as I went along, I found it better to act like an ‘E’. So I enjoyed it.” He added, “In the beginning, I wore comfortable clothes, but considering the fun elements and the glamorous aspects of the play ‘Trigger’, I wore a variety of colorful outfits.”

‘Trigger’ is a gun disaster action thriller that depicts the story of two men who pick up guns for their own reasons amidst the continuous occurrence of gun incidents and the delivery of illegal firearms of unknown origin in the gun-clean country of South Korea. It will be released on the 25th.
