Super Junior's Kyuhyun revealed his monthly credit card expenses.
On the 3rd, KBS2's 'Problematic Men in the Rooftop Room' will feature Kyuhyun and Shindong from Super Junior, who are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year.
Kyuhyun and Shindong, making their first appearance, joked, "We thought we were banned from appearing on KBS," showcasing their witty banter typical of long-standing variety show stars.
Despite the title of '20th anniversary of debut,' the two revealed that they are quite awkward with each other, showing that they don't match at all in terms of small habits and personalities. They displayed completely opposite spending habits.
In contrast to Shindong, a delivery food enthusiast and a representative maximalist in the entertainment industry, Kyuhyun surprised everyone by stating, "My monthly credit card bill is under 500,000 won; I have never wasted money since I was young," and shared that he enjoys wearing shirts worth 15,000 won and pants worth 20,000 won.
Kyuhyun even made a shocking confession, saying, "I didn't turn on the air conditioner even once last summer," which made Kim Jong-kook, known as the frugal man in the entertainment industry, smile widely.
Kyuhyun also addressed the rumors about a "contract worth hundreds of millions of won with Antenna." After leaving SM Entertainment, where he had been for 18 years, and announcing his exclusive contract with Antenna, Kyuhyun stated, "I did not receive any signing bonus at all."
He expressed gratitude to Antenna for prioritizing Super Junior's group activities during the contract. He revealed, "The income generated from group (Super Junior) activities is not touched by Antenna."
On that day, Kyuhyun and Shindong mentioned one of Super Junior's legendary episodes in the music industry, the "waiting room brawl." They shared stories of shouting and violence in the waiting room, as well as the touching moment when they reconciled in tears during a recording, revealing the details of Super Junior's internal conflicts.
'Problematic Men in the Rooftop Room' will air on the 3rd at 8:30 PM.
