The episode of Channel A’s ‘Close Friend Documentary – 4-Person Dining Table’ airing on the 23rd will feature creative director Jeong Gu-ho. Starting from this broadcast, broadcaster Park Kyung-rim will join as the MC, adding new energy to the program.
Park Kyung-rim will first meet invited close friends, actors Chae Si-ra and Jeong Kyung-soon, to prompt them to share their thoughts about the host. With revelations like “He seems like a boy, but he speaks his mind when working” and “Even when the two of them eat, it’s always at least four servings,” curiosity about host Jeong Gu-ho increases.
Jeong Gu-ho spends time with his close friends at the one-table restaurant of his best friend, chef Noh Young-hee, serving a high-end Korean course made with seasonal ingredients. On this day, he reveals his background as a graduate of Parsons School of Design and Le Cordon Bleu, introducing his diverse career that spans fashion, cooking, performance direction, film art, and music, surprising everyone.
He shares the behind-the-scenes of the brand ‘KUHO,’ launched in 1997, and explains why he is called the ‘CPR specialist of brands’ through the renewal of over 30 brands including ‘FILA’ and ‘Beanpole.’ He recounts his success stories, from winning the Best Costume Award at the Daejong Film Awards twice as the art director for the films ‘Hwang Jin Yi’ and ‘Scandal’ to selling out performances at the Lincoln Center in New York.
Chae Si-ra, who is currently performing in the traditional performance ‘Dan-sim,’ shares her story of realizing her dream of becoming a dancer. She practiced for 12 hours a day, taking advice from her daughter, who majored in dance, and called director Jeong Gu-ho every night for guidance. In response, Jeong Gu-ho jokingly said, “I sometimes didn’t answer on purpose because you called too often,” bringing laughter to the scene.
