Lee Byung-hun and Lee Jung-jae will conclude the global hit series, 'Squid Game'.

On the morning of the 9th, at the production presentation for Netflix's original series 'Squid Game Season 3' held at Seoul Dragon City in Hangangro 3-ga, Lee Byung-hun introduced, "If Seasons 2 and 3 are one story, then Season 3 is the climax."

He stated, "Since it is a story with an ending, it will inevitably come across as very dramatic and intense in various ways," adding, "The full-fledged confrontation between 'Gi-hun' and 'Frontman' will be depicted. I am also very much looking forward to it," showing his confidence.

Director Hwang Dong-hyuk expressed, "I wanted to pose questions rather than deliver a message," and said, "Many people have seen the trailer, so they might have some idea of the developments. After the rebellion in Season 2, Seong Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) loses most of his friends, including his closest friend Jung-bae, and the story revolves around how he falls into guilt and despair and then rises again. It is a story about human faith, and it would be good to focus on the differences in values between Seong Gi-hun and the Frontman."

He emphasized, "If there are many side effects occurring in a capitalist society, it would be the despair and frustration gained from excessive competition and the endless stimulation of human desires. Within that, I wanted to pose the question, 'Can we create a better world? Can we pass on sustainable happiness to future generations?'"

The production presentation was attended by Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Im Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Wi Ha-jun, Park Gyu-young, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Jo Yu-ri, Chae Guk-hee, Lee Da-wit, No Jae-won, and director Hwang Dong-hyuk.

'Squid Game 3' tells the story of Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) who loses his best friend in the game he re-enters, and the Frontman (played by Lee Byung-hun) who participates in the game while hiding his identity, along with the final fates of the surviving participants in the game.

'Squid Game' Season 3 will be released on Netflix on the 27th.
