Former members of Beat Pella House appeared on 'Jungchamsi'.
On the afternoon of the 7th, the MBC entertainment program 'Jungchamsi' featured Beat Pella House and Yoon Nam-no in succession.
On this day’s broadcast, Beat Pella House appeared as the first subject of the "viewpoint." The manager revealed, "After the broadcast, 2,000 people joined the fan cafe. We recently had several overseas schedules. We participated as YouTube's representative artists in India," sharing their busy updates.
They also revealed a different office from the studio shown in the last broadcast. The manager stated, "The advertisements that came in after 'Dopamine' will soon reach 100, and we have about 260-70 performances. We are grateful, but we are rejecting them one by one," surprising the panel.
When asked why they were rejecting offers, the manager explained, "We have been starving for over ten years. In fact, until 'Dopamine,' we were in the red. We have only briefly been successful, but we earned all of last year's income. So we decided to find our essence first. Even if we give up some advertisements and events, we believe that other opportunities will come," he added.
Wing also empathized, saying, "We appreciate the interest, but we need to have the skills to continue." His said, "When the manager showed me the advertisements and performances, I thought, 'How much is that?' But there aren't many songs that can showcase beatboxing. I want to create more songs to show to our fans," he added.
Wing, who is still taking beatboxing lessons after the broadcast, met with the members of Beat Pella House. The manager introduced the members, saying, "Leader Wing is in charge of bass, His is the producer and has the signature sound. Huckle is the 2022 Korean beatbox champion and is responsible for lip bass. Hellcat is in charge of rap and energy and has vocal chants. And Yellai is responsible for vocals and a cappella."
Yellai said, "I woke up in the morning and saw on my phone that Wing and GD did a love shot." When the other members shouted for an explanation, Wing replied, "He's a bit more playful than we think! He jokes a lot."
The manager expressed regret, saying, "GD and I have just become friends, but we broke up."
Afterward, Beat Pella House headed to Han River Park for busking. Seeing the audience filling the seats, the members were surprised, saying, "So many people came?" but their surprise was short-lived as they presented perfect performances that satisfied the audience. They also took time to interact with the audience, getting closer to them.
After the performance, the members concluded the day by saying, "It's so nice to have people who listen to us," and "We worked hard, and let's do well in the future."
The second subject of the "viewpoint" was Yoon Nam-no, Park Jin-woo, and Chef Taeyup. Yoon Nam-no, who was selected as the ambassador for Australian beef, visited the event venue to share eating tips. He played a prank on his older brother and nephew, who came to see him.
Yoon Nam-no said, "There is a 7-year age gap between us. When I was in high school, my older brother got a job and supported me. He only spent 200,000 won of his salary. But he can't come to my restaurant freely. Because of that, he got upset once."
He continued, "My brother called and said, 'I'm going to your restaurant with a friend,' and I just said, 'No' and hung up. It turned out he was on speakerphone with his friend."
After the perfect Yoon Nam-no's omakase, he visited a Pyongyang cold noodle restaurant alone. He helped his sick mother run a cold noodle restaurant during his childhood and said he didn't eat cold noodles until his mid-20s but fell in love with Pyongyang cold noodles.
Yoon Nam-no explained, "There are many types of cold noodles. I didn't eat them because of my environment. I smelled the noodles boiling every day. But when I tried Pyongyang cold noodles, I realized, 'I like cold noodles.' In fact, before going to Australia, I ate three bowls a day for eight days."
After filling up on Pyongyang cold noodles, Yoon Nam-no invited Lee Joon to his restaurant. Lee Joon, known for his big appetite in the entertainment industry, said, "I'm so hungry. I didn't eat anything to eat your food," revealing he hadn't eaten anything until late at night.
For Lee Joon, Yoon Nam-no prepared a red snapper sashimi as the first dish. After tasting Yoon Nam-no's red snapper sashimi, Lee Joon exclaimed, "Wow!" and then said, "This isn't the sashimi I know! It's very different. I'm already feeling good. There is happiness that food brings."
After tasting the scallop sashimi, he praised, "I think the food you made is the best I've had in my 38 years of life."
