In 'Immortal Songs', the representative rivals Kim Ki-tae and La Poem join forces to form the so-called 'Ki-Poem'.
The KBS2 'Immortal Songs' (directed by Park Hyung-geun, Kim Hyung-seok, and Choi Seung-beom) will unfold in a special two-part episode titled '2025 Oh My Star' airing on the 24th.
This special episode has garnered significant attention as Kim Ki-tae and La Poem, who have been in fierce competition, come together as one team. MC Shin Dong-yeop introduced their meeting as "'Sleeping with the Enemy,' where former rivals declare a truce and unite as one team."
Both strong contenders for victory, Kim Ki-tae and La Poem form a team named 'Ki-Poem' after themselves, surprising everyone. Although they share the same goal and cheer for their team name, they soon engage in playful banter, bringing laughter.
At this moment, La Poem's Yoo Chae-hoon sends an impromptu love call to Ha Do-kwon, saying, "If we collaborate once, I think our tones will match well and create synergy," which catches the attention of Kim Ki-tae sitting next to him, who jokingly pushes his chair aside and asks, "Can I cancel?" making the scene burst into laughter.
The official nemesis of 'Immortal Songs', Ki-Poem, expresses their determination to show better harmony on stage than ever before, sparking curiosity. They reveal that they have chosen Seo Taiji and Boys' 'Hayoga' for this performance, confessing that they had a hard time deciding on the song. They state, "We deliberated over 20 songs and ultimately decided to go with something bold," clenching their fists. Yoo Chae-hoon adds, "There are many points to watch, including Kim Ki-tae's performance of 'The Howl of the Wolf' and La Poem's rap challenge," raising expectations.
Having each won 6 trophies on 'Immortal Songs', Ki-Poem is a strong contender with a total of 12 trophies, drawing interest in whether their bold performance can secure another victory.
The second part of the '2025 Oh My Star' special is anticipated to feature a powerful lineup and unprecedented performances, with the return of the score disclosure system. Reports suggest that the competition was decided by just a 2-point difference, already raising excitement for the broadcast.
'Immortal Songs' will air today (24th) at 6:05 PM.
