Park Byeong-eun from 'Tangeum' revealed that he appears as a window-display couple with Uhm Ji-won in the drama.
On the 14th, a production presentation for the Netflix series 'Tangeum' was held at the Ramada Hotel in Sindorim, Seoul. Director Kim Hong-sun and actors Lee Jae-wook, Jo Bo-ah, Jung Ga-ram, Uhm Ji-won, and Park Byeong-eun attended.
Park Byeong-eun, who plays Shim Yeol-guk, stated, "Shim Yeol-guk and Min Yeon-hee (Uhm Ji-won) appear to be a couple on the surface, but Min Yeon-hee is a character who has ambitions to achieve wealth and power. They come across like a window-display couple from the Joseon era."
He continued, "Their power struggles and mind games are ongoing. In order to bring the situation to their side, the two engage in a back-and-forth battle. I think that will be a significant source of enjoyment for viewers, and they will be curious about it."
'Tangeum' is a mystery melodrama set in the Joseon era, depicting the story of Hong-rang, the son of the largest trading company in Joseon, who returns after 12 years with no memory, and his half-sister Jae-im, who doubts his true identity. It will be released on the 16th at 4 PM.
