In the TV Chosun entertainment program ‘Our Baby is Born’, the ‘Sunny Duo’ Park Soo-hong & Yang Se-hyung are taken aback by a sudden phone call from the production team in the early morning.
On the first broadcast of ‘Our Baby is Born’ (hereafter ‘Our Baby’) airing at 10 PM on the 9th, the ‘Sunny Duo’ Park Soo-hong & Yang Se-hyung receive a mission stating, “The duty of the Sunny Duo is to applaud when the baby is born and celebrate the birth of life.”
In response, Yang Se-hyung reveals, “I have never been to an obstetrics and gynecology department except when I was born,” indicating his complete lack of prior knowledge about childbirth. However, he shows a diligent attitude towards learning, saying, “I don’t know much about this…” during the childbirth process.
To Yang Se-hyung, ‘Dad Jae-i’ Park Soo-hong responds, “You really don’t know anything,” and adds, “I’ve done IVF. I know what it feels like to be anxious because I’ve been through it,” hinting at a storm of empathy. He announces the birth of the ‘easy delivery fairy’ while managing various aspects with a lighter touch than the ‘real dads’ at the childbirth scene.
Additionally, ‘senior dad’ Park Soo-hong advises Yang Se-hyung, “Don’t make any plans from now on. There’s no work-life balance,” emphasizing that being on ‘24-hour standby’ is essential for responding to the birth of the baby.
Even before this, the production team had suddenly contacted Park Soo-hong and Yang Se-hyung early that morning. Seeing dozens of missed calls, Yang Se-hyung expressed his surprise, saying, “I was shocked, thinking something must have happened. But no matter how I think about it, I haven’t done anything wrong recently. I’ve been living well, being careful, and not meeting people…” sharing the anxious thoughts that filled his mind.
