Actress Lee Min-young mentioned the incident of her marriage ending just 12 days after tying the knot 20 years ago.

On the 6th, the SBS Plus · E Channel entertainment program 'Solo Because' aired a segment where Lee Min-young hosted a housewarming party for her friends.

On that day, one of Lee Min-young's friends expressed her frustration, saying, "There are still many ridiculous rumors." She added, "I was with her in the hospital at that time. I know the situation back then." Another friend also shared, "I went to the hospital carrying my feverish son and saw (Lee Min-young), and it broke my heart," explaining, "I had even done an interview about it as it was."

Lee Min-young reflected, "It was my fault for not being able to talk about that time," and said, "I thought it would just cause more noise if I spoke up. Keeping silent has become a regret for me even now."

Lee Min-young married actor A in 2006. However, the marriage ended just 12 days later. At that time, Lee Min-young revealed photos claiming she was assaulted by A. The images showed her broken nose and bruised eyes, and it was revealed that she suffered a miscarriage due to the shock, which evoked sympathy. A was sentenced to one year in prison, with a two-year suspended sentence and 240 hours of community service for the assault charges.

In an interview with the production team, Lee Min-young explained, "I don't usually search for myself, but my friends told me there are ridiculous stories out there, so I looked it up. There were many unbelievable stories that didn't even exist. As the rumors piled up, I didn't know where to start untangling them." She added, "I think I was an immature adult," and revealed, "Because I have a hard time expressing myself, when bad things happen, I can't speak. It's like my speech was shut down, like aphasia," explaining why she couldn't fully share her feelings at that time.
