Actress Ki Eun-se shared her thoughts on divorce.
On the broadcast of KBS2’s ‘Newly Released Pyeon Restaurant’ on the 2nd, Ki Eun-se’s daily life was depicted.
On this day, Ki Eun-se had an open conversation while enjoying a six-course meal prepared for Jeon In-hwa. Jeon In-hwa praised her, saying, “Why are you so pretty? You cook well, do interior design well, and manage the household well. What should I do?” Ki Eun-se jokingly replied, “If you know any good men around, please introduce me.”
In response to Ki Eun-se’s comment that there’s nowhere to meet men, Jeon In-hwa retorted, “That’s because you’re just staying at home.” She then advised, “Invite them over. Have meat on the terrace and go to karaoke.”
Jeon In-hwa asked, “Don’t you have anyone to meet among your friends? There must be friends of your friends’ husbands.” Ki Eun-se lamented, “There are hardly any unmarried people. When I look for younger men, there aren’t any in my age group.”
Meanwhile, Ki Eun-se opened up about her divorce. She said, “When I got divorced, my mom said, ‘You’ll handle it, so it’s okay.’ My mom never opposed me when I got married or when I separated.”
Jeon In-hwa asked, “Doesn’t your mom tell you to get married again?” Ki Eun-se replied, “Later. Not now.” She continued, “Right now, I have a lot of ambition to return to work. I spent my entire 20s living with the dream of being an actress, but when I got married without achieving that dream, I thought about retiring. I never expected to return to work again. I think that’s really amazing.”
Ki Eun-se said, “When I was young, I didn’t have any recognized works as an actress. After getting married, I never thought I would work again. I lived diligently as a wife and discovered my talent for cooking. As a result, my SNS started doing well, and at some point, I found myself working again. I’ve learned to be grateful because you never know how life will turn out.”
Jeon In-hwa remarked, “When I first met you, I didn’t know you were an acting friend. But then I saw you in ‘Hwa In-ga Scandal.’ I was so surprised because you did so well. I watched it with my husband, and we praised you a lot.” She added, “If you work hard at anything, you will definitely achieve the dreams you envision. It’s just a matter of timing.”
