To celebrate the 30th anniversary of KBS Cool FM's flagship program 'Raise the Volume', Maybe is returning as a special DJ.
As the third DJ, Maybe hosted 'Mevol' from October 2006 to April 2010, gaining love from listeners of various age groups. Maybe expressed, "Volume is a precious word that should not be missed in introducing myself," and added, "I hope to share moments of volume until I become a grandmother."
On the day of the live broadcast, Maybe's close friend Lee Hyori will appear as a guest. Maybe is also the lyricist for '10 Minutes' and 'Remember Me' from Lee Hyori's first solo album. This will be the first time the two meet on air since 2019. Their stories about starting life in Seoul again and their current status as entertainment program MCs are expected to attract listeners' interest.
On April 3rd, a 30th-anniversary ceremony will be held at KBS in Yeouido. Former DJs and production staff, including Lee Bon, Choi Kang-hee, Narsha, Kim Ye-won, Kang Han-na, and Heize, will gather to reminisce about the past 30 years of volume.
'Raise the Volume', which airs every evening at 8 PM, is a representative brand of KBS Radio that started on April 3, 1995, and has produced 13 star DJs that remain in people's memories. Currently, Oh My Girl's Hyojeong meets listeners with her bright and comfortable charm.
