'Undercover High School' delivered deep emotion and lingering feelings to the home audience, achieving a satisfying conclusion.

In the 12th episode of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Undercover High School' (written by Lim Young-bin, directed by Choi Jung-in), the story of Jung Hae-sung (played by Seo Kang-joon), who completed the mission to recover Emperor Gojong's gold bars, Oh Soo-ah (played by Jin Ki-joo), who fulfilled her dream of becoming a teacher, and Seo Myung-joo (played by Kim Shin-rok), who was sentenced to life imprisonment, was vividly portrayed, culminating in a happy ending.

In yesterday's broadcast, Hae-sung, who struggled to escape from an overturned car, regained stability with Soo-ah's help. With a warrant out for his arrest on charges of murdering Director Kim (played by Lee Seo-hwan), Hae-sung was unable to do anything and called the National Intelligence Service's Domestic Team 4 to the motel where he was staying. They had to find a USB containing evidence to drive Myung-joo out, but encountered police during their escape. While Team 4 bought time at the door, Hae-sung lured the police away, and in the meantime, Soo-ah headed to the school to protect the children.

Unable to go home due to the warrant, Hae-sung used Team Leader Gong (played by Lim Cheol-hyung). He claimed that everything happening was orchestrated by Myung-joo and that the evidence was on a USB at his home. Believing Hae-sung's words, Team Leader Gong brought the USB, and Hae-sung immediately went to the police station to confess and present the evidence to accuse Myung-joo.

Myung-joo stated that to minimize student backlash, there would be no academic misconduct, abolition of the scholarship system, or tuition increase. However, at that moment, Ahn Yoo-jung (played by Park Se-hyun) spoke up, questioning why Soo-ah was expelled, and other students began to rebel against Myung-joo.

Meanwhile, arrest warrants were issued for Myung-joo and Jae-moon, prompting the National Intelligence Service's Domestic Team 4 to go to the school to apprehend them. At that time, the school was engulfed in gasoline as the fire alarm went off and the sprinklers activated, with Myung-joo standing precariously holding a lighter, creating a sense of fear. Upon arriving at the school, Hae-sung approached Myung-joo with a gun, leading to a tense standoff between the two. Just then, Lee Ye-na (played by Kim Min-ju), who was returning home, came back and began to intervene with Myung-joo.

As the suffocating tension escalated, Myung-joo aimed a gun at her own head, and as she pulled the trigger, Soo-ah threw herself in front of her, narrowly saving her. With that, the situation came to an end, and Myung-joo and Jae-moon were set to stand trial. Initially, Jae-moon claimed that everything was his unilateral decision, but as Hae-sung persuaded him, Myung-joo was able to receive a fitting punishment of life imprisonment.

The whereabouts of the hidden gold bars were also revealed. Hae-sung discovered a star sticker placed by his father in the rooftop room, and suddenly recalled something. He peeled up the wooden floor where the sticker was attached, revealing gold bars stamped with Emperor Gojong's royal seal, causing surprise. Furthermore, at the end of the broadcast, Hae-sung confessed to Soo-ah and they shared a kiss, bringing a thrilling atmosphere to the home audience as the 'Hae-soo couple' concluded the show.
