‘24-Hour Health Club’ has opened the door to a unique muscle growth drama by revealing a script reading scene filled with the passion of the actors.

Set to premiere on April 30, KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘24-Hour Health Club’ (directed by Park Jun-soo and Choi Yeon-soo, written by Kim Ji-soo) is a heart-pounding comic romance about a fitness enthusiast, gym director Do Hyun-jung, who dramatically corrects the lives of overly worried gym beginners.

In the revealed script reading scene, the main cast of ‘24-Hour Health Club’ gathered in one place. Along with director Park Jun-soo, director Choi Yeon-soo, and writer Kim Ji-soo, actors Lee Jun-young (as Do Hyun-jung), Jung Eun-ji (as Lee Mi-ran), Lee Mi-do (as Rosa), Lee Seung-woo (as Alex), Park Sung-yeon (as Lim Sung-im), Lee Ji-hye (as Yoon Bu-young), Hong Yoon-hwa (as Park Dul-hee), Lee Da-eun (as Lee Ji-ran), Lee Sang-jin (as Kang Dan), and Kim Kwon (as Roy) all gathered to ignite their passion for the project.

Lee Jun-young perfectly immersed himself in the role of the fitness enthusiast gym director Do Hyun-jung, heating up the atmosphere. He not only vividly portrayed the character's genuine passion for exercise but also delivered unique greetings infused with the gym's distinctive sense of humor, such as ‘Muscle Morning’, ‘Muscle Bye’, and ‘What the fat!’, leaving a strong impact. With the character's diverse charm completed through Lee Jun-young, he expressed, “I personally look forward to conveying various and touching stories about the body through Hyun-jung.”

Jung Eun-ji transformed into the ‘muscle-less’ gym beginner Lee Mi-ran, showcasing the essence of a ‘trustworthy comic icon’ that viewers can't help but laugh at. Leading the scene with her versatile acting, Jung Eun-ji's character, who started exercising to overcome a breakup, showed signs of facing even greater trials. She introduced her expectations, saying, “I wonder if life can change just through exercise; it contains various joys and sorrows, so I hope many viewers will tune in.” Jung Eun-ji and Lee Jun-young exchanged lively dialogues, boasting perfect chemistry from their first meeting.

Lee Mi-do, Lee Seung-woo, Park Sung-yeon, Lee Ji-hye, and Hong Yoon-hwa hinted at exciting relationships as gym staff and members. Lee Mi-do and Lee Seung-woo vividly expressed the characters of Rosa, a strong-willed gym veteran, and Alex, the mascot. The ‘Witch's Three’ trio of Park Sung-yeon, Lee Ji-hye, and Hong Yoon-hwa also showcased a captivating acting combination that was hard to take your eyes off.

Additionally, the impressive performances of actors like Lee Da-eun, Lee Sang-jin, Kim Kwon, and Jo Jung-chi, who possess unique charms, left a lasting impression. The teamwork displayed from the script reading raises anticipation for how it will be realized, and viewers are eagerly awaiting the broadcast filled with relatable episodes.

Announcing the birth of an unprecedented health drama, ‘24-Hour Health Club’ is a collaboration between director Park Jun-soo, recognized for his vibrant directing through works like ‘Gauss Electronics’ and ‘The God of Music’, and writer Kim Ji-soo, who showcased delicate yet delightful writing in ‘Postpartum Care Center’. It will air for the first time on April 30 at 9:50 PM, following ‘The Villain’s Country’.
