'The Land of Villains' has released its first teaser video.
Set to premiere in March, KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday sitcom 'The Land of Villains' (directed by Kim Young-jo and Choi Jeong-eun, written by Chae Woo and Park Kwang-yeon) is a situational comedy-drama that captures the sometimes rough yet warm daily lives of K-Zoomma sisters and their quirky families.
'The Land of Villains' is generating buzz with the total participation of comic acting masters including Onara and So Yoo-jin, as well as Seo Hyun-cheol, Song Jin-woo, and Park Young-kyu.
The released first teaser video begins with Oh Yoo-jin (played by So Yoo-jin) throwing live octopus at her sister Oh Na-ra (played by Onara). When Yoo-jin says to Na-ra, "You're the crazy one in this area, Oh Na-ra," Na-ra responds by dancing wildly in front of her husband Seo Hyun-cheol (played by Seo Hyun-cheol), creating a humorous scene full of quirkiness.
Hyun-cheol reveals to his brother-in-law Song Jin-woo (played by Song Jin-woo), "I can't live like this," while Jin-woo shouts, "Let's survive first," showcasing their desperate struggle to endure a crazy world, which heightens the drama's intrigue. Additionally, Jin-woo surprises Yoo-jin with a somewhat clumsy magic show and captivates attention with a high-level tango dance with his sister-in-law Na-ra.
Na-ra and Yoo-jin's father Oh Young-kyu (played by Park Young-kyu) causes laughter as he runs away barefoot to escape his ex-wife Choi Kwang-ja (played by Shin Shin-ae). Curiosity rises about what story lies between the two.
Attention is also focused on the couple chemistry between Na-ra and Hyun-cheol, and Yoo-jin and Jin-woo. Yoo-jin slides down a slide while Na-ra rides a seesaw standing up. Can the busy Hyun-cheol and Jin-woo handle their unpredictable wives? This makes viewers look forward to the main broadcast, which will feature their delightful comic narratives and tumultuous daily lives.
'The Land of Villains,' which depicts the cheerful family life of the sisters Na-ra and Yoo-jin, their husbands, and their father living next door in an apartment, is already gaining explosive interest. We eagerly await the extraordinary episodes they will unfold.
'The Land of Villains' will premiere on March 19 as a follow-up to 'Kikikikikik.'
