Eom Ji-won from 'Eagle Brothers 5' shared her thoughts on meeting Yoon Park, with whom she had previously played a couple, as a brother-in-law and elder sister-in-law.
On the afternoon of the 22nd at 2:30 PM, the production presentation for KBS2's new weekend drama 'Please Take Care of Eagle Brothers 5!' was held at Ramada Seoul in Sindorim-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by director Choi Sang-yeol, as well as Eom Ji-won, Ahn Jae-wook, Choi Dae-cheol, Kim Dong-wan, Yoon Park, Lee Seok-ki, Park Hyo-joo, and Yoo In-young.
Yoon Park mentioned that he had previously met Eom Ji-won as a couple in the drama 'Postpartum Care Center', and now they are meeting as a brother-in-law and elder sister-in-law. He said, "I heard about Eom Ji-won's casting, and a few days later, while having dinner during a golf appointment, I joked, 'We met as a couple before, and now we meet as a brother-in-law and sister-in-law.'”
He continued, "In this drama, the five brothers have a relationship where they follow their sister-in-law. When we played a couple, I trusted and took care of her a lot, and personally, she is such a great senior, so I think that will show in the work as well. I think I can show her as a sister-in-law that makes you think, 'It would be nice to have a sister-in-law like this.'”
In response to the same question, Eom Ji-won said, "We have maintained a good relationship since 'Postpartum Care Center'. It has been a while since we filmed, and now he seems like a young master. The actors playing the brothers have such good personalities and are so harmonious that we are having fun filming together. I’m curious about what kind of relationship we will have by the end, even without me having to comfort the brothers." She smiled.
Meanwhile, 'Please Take Care of Eagle Brothers 5!' is a drama that depicts the well-ripened family story created by the five uniquely talented brothers of the long-established brewery, Eagle Soju, and the eldest sister-in-law who suddenly became the head of the family after her husband’s unexpected death just ten days after their wedding. It will premiere on February 1 at 8 PM.
