Im Hyun-joo, an MBC announcer who is pregnant with her second child, announced that her delivery is imminent.
On the 11th, Im Hyun-joo explained on her Instagram story, “I was urgently hospitalized today due to some contractions and spotting,” indicating that she is nearing the birth of her second child.
She continued, “This morning, I hurriedly packed the delivery bag and quickly set up the things we need for the second child when they come home. I wonder if Aria feels something, as she has been busy moving around all morning. I couldn’t even say goodbye to Aria while she was napping, and I don’t know why I’m tearing up when I see her. I realized this is how I feel about my first child. It doesn’t feel real that I will soon meet my little one. It’s D-1 before another new world opens,” expressing her affection for her first child along with excitement for the upcoming birth of her second child.
Im Hyun-joo married British author Daniel Tudor in February 2023. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Aria, in October of that year. Last September, Im announced her pregnancy on social media, saying, “Our family will become four in February next year,” and received congratulations.
On the 10th, she revealed on social media, “The due date has been pushed back by about five days,” adding, “Now it’s D-8. Let’s meet healthily.” She also decided not to go to a postpartum care center for her first child, stating, “The second one will take longer to recover, but I will try to get massages, eat well, and rest at home.”
