Yeon-woo revealed an unexpected daily life.
On the afternoon of the 1st, MBC's entertainment program 'The Manager's Perspective' (hereafter 'The Manager's Perspective') featured Shin Hyun-joon, Jung Joon-ho, and Yeon-woo.
In this episode, the first guest, Shin Hyun-joon, arrived at a hair and makeup shop to find Jung Joon-ho getting styled. It turned out that Shin Hyun-joon had volunteered to be Jung Joon-ho's manager since he didn't have one. Jung Joon-ho revealed, "The person who prevented me from doing the movie 'Friend' is Shin Hyun-joon. I had even signed a contract to shoot 'Friend.' There was a jjimjilbang (Korean sauna) that we often went to, and I told him, 'Hyung, I got this project,' and he said, 'Hey, can a movie like that be made with a school uniform? Don't do that, let's do this instead.' It was said to be with the 'Terminator' team. Coincidentally, both movies had the same release date. But 'Siren' had 60,000 viewers, while 'Friend' had 8.18 million. I was just reciting lines from 'Friend' wherever I went," which made everyone feel sorry for him.
Lee Young-ja asked, "Whose role was it originally?" and Jung Joon-ho replied, "Jang Dong-gun," making Shin Hyun-joon feel even more guilty.
After Jung Joon-ho finished his makeup, he got in the car, and as Shin Hyun-joon only listened to T-Ping's songs, he scolded, "Hey, turn off the music! It's too loud! No matter what, you can't be late for a wedding!" Hyun-joon reassured him, saying, "We arrived 5 minutes early."
Upon arriving at the wedding venue, Jung Joon-ho read the marriage declaration and successfully completed his schedule. Jung Joon-ho said, "Are you hungry? What should I buy you? There's a restaurant for drivers over there. Let's go there. Why are we eating meat here? This isn't the place! We need to go further to the driver’s restaurant!" but Shin Hyun-joon insisted, "Quickly bring your wallet!" and headed towards a meat restaurant.
At the meat restaurant, the two grilled meat, and Jung Joon-ho exclaimed, "Wow, this is delicious." As Hyun-joon quickly ate the meat, Jung Joon-ho said, "Hey, I only had one. Don't eat before I do. Bring me a bottle of makgeolli. Shake it," making everyone laugh.
Hyun-joon reminisced, "You remind me of my wedding. How many people came? Do you regret getting married? You caused a scene at my wedding. What if you asked the elders how many love shots you've had with your current girlfriend?" He then urged, "Let's go home. Quickly take out your card," and Jung Joon-ho replied, "How can I pay when my hyung is here? I'm not that rude. Let's go now. Where's the bathroom?" and made a run for it. Meanwhile, Shin Hyun-joon escaped, and Jung Joon-ho humorously asked, "Did Shin Hyun-joon not pay?" as he settled the bill himself.
The next morning, Jung Joon-ho dressed up and said, "Yes, I understand. I'm ready," as he volunteered to be Shin Hyun-joon's manager. He explained, "Shin Hyun-joon is running a company with his sister-in-law. It might be inconvenient compared to having a dedicated manager. I came as Shin Hyun-joon's manager for the premiere of the movie 'Ghost Police.'
As he went out to gather his things, Jung Joon-ho said, "You can call me however you feel comfortable. I asked six citizens what they think of the actor, and they all said he's a playboy. Shin Hyun-joon is the number one target to avoid," adding, "It's true. Before getting married, there were many articles about it, and I watched from the side. After getting married, he changed 180 degrees. He must have committed sins," revealing this in an interview.
Shin Hyun-joon asked, "Why does it smell like food in the car?" Jung Joon-ho replied, "I've given up eating at restaurants because there are too many people while living as an actor for a long time, but the manager went to the restaurant and brought food on a tray. It was really touching," as he pulled out a full meal.
Upon arriving at the shop, Shin Hyun-joon received hair and makeup, while Jung Joon-ho continued to guard him and maintained the concept, making everyone laugh.
Hyun-joon said, "But actually, I filmed a movie with Kim Soo-mi's mom. She said, 'Hyun-joon, let's promote together! If we do, we can beat all other works!' I was happy about the press premiere, but my heart was heavy. Honestly, I was scared. But Jung-hoo was funny next to me, so... I understand his feelings," expressing gratitude. Jung Joon-ho revealed, "A few days ago, he kept saying, 'I wish my mom could be at the press premiere,' so I thought he must be feeling sad," explaining the reason for the concept, which moved the panelists.
After arriving at the premiere, he looked at the poster he took with the late Kim Soo-mi and said, "If Jung-hoo wasn't here at that time, it would have been a disaster. My mother said she was happiest when filming 'Barefoot Gi-bong.' She always told me to make a warm movie without anything provocative like 'Barefoot Gi-bong.' That's exactly 'Ghost Police.' But in reality, my mom is the only one missing," expressing his sadness. He added, "You set a concept, right? I said, 'Mom, how about I take a picture with you like the Gi-bong poster?' and that poster had 'Mom, let's live long together with Gi-bong' written on it," conveying his longing for the deceased.
As the press premiere began, Shin Hyun-joon broke down in tears when a video of the late Kim Soo-mi played. His daughter Min-seo comforted him, saying, "Dad, don't cry," as she wiped his tears.
The second guest was actress Yeon-woo. Lying on the living room sofa watching television since 10 AM, she kept exploring what to watch, saying, "What should I watch~" and yawned several times before falling back asleep.
Yeon-woo's manager said, "Last year was so busy that we had a fulfilling year. If there's no schedule, she just lies at home. You could say Yeon-woo is beyond a homebody; she's a lying-down body," he reported. He added, "Her first impression is aloof and cold, but she has a lot of hidden charms. There's no aloofness at all."
After waking up, she called her cat a few times and lay down watching television for three hours. When the delivery food arrived, she finally showed signs of getting up. However, she lay back down while eating.
Finally escaping the house, she said, "It's too cold. I think I should go home," as she looked for a Pilates shop and showed her workout before her schedule. However, she kept making sounds of discomfort, and the panelists were surprised, asking, "Can't you even straighten your knees?" and "You're surprisingly stiff."
After exercising, she headed to the filming location with her manager, and Yeon-woo said, "I couldn't sleep last night, so I watched 'Steel Troops W,' right? If my manager goes out, I'll go out too~" as she introduced her manager. The manager introduced herself, saying, "I served in the military for about five years. My specialty was aviation armament. I was a technician managing torpedoes, opportunities, and missiles. I'm the first female aviation armament officer."
Even while getting her makeup done, she kept joking around and did a photoshoot with Kim Jae-won, showcasing their chemistry as a handsome couple. When Yeon-woo said, "I changed my front seat to 3," Jae-won sweetly replied, "They say women are most beautiful in their 30s."
'The Manager's Perspective' airs every Saturday at 11:10 PM on MBC.
