The full-scale survival begins, where half of the cover singers who survived ‘Undercover’ will be eliminated.
In the third episode of ENA's cover influencer survival show ‘Undercover’ airing on the 26th at 7:40 PM, a ‘Flea Team Battle’ will take place on the main stage, featuring ballads, R&B, rock, K-POP, and indie & folk playlists instead of the channel booth.
On this day, the 60 cover singers who advanced to the second round will start battling with songs from playlists divided into five themes. However, each playlist has a capacity of 12, and the selection of playlists is determined on a first-come, first-served basis according to the rankings from the first round, putting the cover singers in a state of panic.
It turns out that during the first round, the cover singers conducted self-evaluations while watching the performances. The results of these self-evaluations will be revealed in front of the cover singers. Faced with the unexpected rankings from 1st to 60th place, the cover singers cannot hide their bewilderment, saying, “This is too cruel” and “Survival is a class society.”
Moreover, when the situation arises where the 12 cover singers who chose the same playlist must split into three teams of four for an ‘internal team battle,’ a battle of wits ensues as they try to become teammates with their desired members, creating tension.
The team that comes in first will have all members survive, the second team will have half survive, and the third team will be completely eliminated, resulting in a staggering 30 out of 60 being eliminated at the start of the second round. Listener Jung Jae-hyung also predicts, “It will be a war-like day,” raising expectations for the fierce vocal competition among cover singers to survive in the second round.
Additionally, starting from the second round, the all-rounder producers GroovyRoom (Park Kyu-jeong, Lee Hwi-min) will officially join as listeners, sparking curiosity about how they will evaluate the cover singers from a producer's perspective.
Meanwhile, the intense competition among cover influencers to turn ‘someone’s’ song into ‘my’ song unfolds in ENA’s ‘Undercover,’ which airs every Sunday at 7:40 PM.
