Singer Park Jun-hyung, Jo Hyun-a, Chef Jung Ji-sun, and YouTuber Chungju Man gathered in one place to provide a time of laughter, fun, and emotion, a ‘gift in itself’.

On the 25th, MBC's entertainment program ‘Radio Star’ (planned by Kang Young-sun / directed by Kim Myung-yeob and Hwang Yoon-sang) featured a special episode titled ‘Love and Remember’ with singer Park Jun-hyung, singer Jo Hyun-a, chef Jung Ji-sun, and public servant YouTuber Chungju Man.

According to Nielsen Korea, the ratings for ‘Radio Star’ broadcast the previous day recorded 4.6% based on households in the metropolitan area, ranking first in its time slot. The 2049 ratings, a key indicator for advertisers and a measure of channel competitiveness, also recorded 2.0%, securing the top spot in the same time slot.

The highlight of the show was Jung Ji-sun, who created a ‘golden bath tree’ by incorporating a bath that became a hot topic from the show ‘Black and White Chef: Cooking Class War’. This tree, which cannot be seen in stores, captivated everyone with its golden visual and taste, causing the ratings for ‘Radio Star’ to soar to 5.7% (based on the metropolitan area).

The eldest member of god, Park Jun-hyung, brought great laughter to the studio with his relentless audio and reenactments of episodes. While showcasing his confidence with the record of sold-out concerts as a member of god, he reenacted the infamous ‘Popeye pants bathroom incident’ when it was mentioned, eliciting big laughs.

He shared numerous episodes with producer Park Jin-young, who is responsible for god's music, revealing that when he entered the recording studio with a ‘whatever will be, will be’ mindset due to Park Jin-young's detailed requests, everything passed, making everyone laugh. He surprised everyone by revealing that IU, a member of the official fan club ‘fangod’, secretly attended their concert and that all the members received ‘ginseng’ as a gift, especially noting that it costs around ‘ten million won’.

Jo Hyun-a did everything she wanted on ‘Radio Star’. Among them, her impressive moment of getting up like a weeble after pouring out her emotions through tears and laughter stood out. At one point, she mentioned that she wanted to laugh and started appearing on variety shows, showing tears as she explained that her mother passed away nine months after being diagnosed with a brain tumor and that she felt depressed due to the limited performance opportunities for singers during the pandemic.

The hit song ‘I’ll Give You’ was revealed to have been planned by Jo Hyun-a long ago. She mentioned that she received the song ‘I’ll Give You’, which is bright and has a tempo, different from the Urban Zakapa concept, and that she, as the CEO, proceeded with the work smoothly, stating that after appearing on two music shows, it literally became a ‘big hit’. She humorously noted that the topic of discussion shifted to mockery, saying, “I almost changed my name to Mockery,” and when MC Kim Gu-ra expressed surprise at her statement that she ranked second in views in July, surpassing New Jeans, everyone burst into laughter, and the viewers also found it hilarious.

In particular, Jo Hyun-a expressed her surprise by saying, “It’s going better than expected,” and mentioned that “the singing fee is more than six times the usual amount,” drawing attention to her investment prowess. She shared that she initially gave seed money to her older sister, who increased the money after obtaining a real estate agent license. She also mentioned that she looked at land, and the place that caught her eye was Hannam-dong. As she built an image of a wealthy figure in the entertainment industry, she waved her hands, causing laughter.

Chef Jung Ji-sun attracted attention by revealing her changed circumstances after appearing on ‘Black and White Chef’. Having gained international fame, she surprised everyone by stating that not only has her store's sales increased, but she is also producing ‘meal kits’ while sleeping an average of three hours. She also shared that she now has a schedule to go to Taiwan every two weeks and has received love calls from various international companies for events. Notably, she declared that she would not participate in season 2 of ‘Black and White Chef’, stating that it was to give others a chance, which felt heartwarming.

Meanwhile, Jung Ji-sun humorously revealed the ‘sorrow’ behind her increasingly thick eyeliner due to her fame. She stated that “without eyeliner, I lose my confidence,” and that she cannot go out without it because people wouldn’t recognize her if she erased it. It was revealed that she uses five ‘eyeliner pencils’, which caused great laughter.

Jung Ji-sun also provided viewers with a ‘genuine happy moment’ from MC Kim Gu-ra. She expressed gratitude, saying that she feels she has received the most benefits among this year’s ‘Radio Star’ guests, especially revealing her special feelings during the gift exchange time with MC Kim Gu-ra. Jung Ji-sun gifted him a now-discontinued alcohol, capturing a ‘genuine happy moment’ from Kim Gu-ra that had never been seen before. Additionally, to allow viewers to follow along, she used a commercial chocolate bread product to create a tree shape and made a bath, scattering golden bath elements from above, surprising everyone with her skills. The magical ‘bath tree’ made all the guests stand up, and everyone gave a thumbs up for the fantastic taste.

Chungju Man, a famous YouTuber with a public servant status, impressively distinguished between topics he could and could not join, bursting into laughter at the right moments and receiving great responses. He even appeared on a Netflix show, revealing that while public servants can receive one-time appearance fees, it is difficult to appear in commercial advertisements, and he tearfully declined a tablet PC advertisement from a large company, S.

He is in charge of the official YouTube channel of Chungju City and shared a story related to his promise to retire if the subscriber count reaches one million. He explained that the current mayor of Chungju City is in his third term and that after completing his last year of office, another election will be held, humorously stating, “I’m afraid we might be buried together,” and “I’m not in anyone’s line,” which elicited laughter. He also expressed his desire to leave when the applause stops and mentioned that he is looking for a successor while discussing with the MCs, causing more laughter.
