In ‘Bride Training’, Kim Jong-min showcased his potential as a prepared groom.
On the 18th, the Channel A entertainment program ‘Recent Men's Life - Bride Training’ (hereafter ‘Bride Training’) revealed Kim Jong-min's newlywed house tour.
On this day, Kim Jong-min said, “Among my acquaintances, the one with real estate knowledge is definitely Baekga,” and visited a real estate agency with him. In the car, Kim Jong-min asked, “How did you become interested in real estate?” Baekga replied, “I grew up in a difficult environment, so I always had a dream about having a home,” and then mentioned a trauma, saying, “Once, nine cats fell from the roof while I was sleeping. I faced off with those cats for about five minutes, and that time felt like 5,000 years.”
Hearing this, Kim Jong-min understood, saying, “So that’s why Baekga freaks out whenever he sees a cat.” Baekga added, “When I happened to go back to that neighborhood, I looked for the house I used to live in, and it was still there. The bathroom was still outside. Seeing that made me feel like, ‘I’ve succeeded!’ My dream was to live in a house with the bathroom in the living room.”
The studio mentor group responded with applause, saying, “That’s impressive.” Kim Jong-min also shared, “I didn’t have a bathroom in my house when I was young. I used the village communal bathroom. I want to find a safe and cozy newlywed home for my future family,” and began the real estate tour in earnest.
On the recommendation of the real estate agent, the two went to see a house with an open view. Upon entering the house, Kim Jong-min expressed satisfaction, saying, “I’ll do the dishes, so I can enjoy the view while washing up.” He then emphasized, “If I get married, I want to leave all the interior design to my wife.” They also looked at a single-family home that was ‘child-friendly,’ and when ‘groom’ Kim Il-woo asked, “What are your plans for kids?” Kim Jong-min replied, “We need to prepare right away.”
Additionally, when the MCs asked, “Have you met your girlfriend’s family?” Kim Jong-min answered, “I have,” and then said, “I met my girlfriend’s older brother, who is nine years younger than me.” In response, Shim Jin-hwa clarified, “Regardless of age, an older brother is an older brother!” Kim Jong-min laughed and said, “He’s too young for that, but he said he would call me ‘hyung,’ so I quickly said ‘okay.’”
Meanwhile, Kim Jong-min announced his marriage to his 11-year-younger girlfriend next year.
