Comedian Jang Do-yeon appeared on ‘Na-rae’s Meal’ and proudly showcased her 18-year friendship with Park Na-rae.

On the 18th, Park Na-rae's YouTube channel ‘Na-rae’s Meal’ released the 14th episode titled “Someone Needs a Christmas Party, Look Up and Watch Na-rae’s Meal” featuring her close friend, comedian Jang Do-yeon.

On that day, when Park Na-rae was asked, “Have you ever spent Christmas with Jang Do-yeon?” she reminisced, saying, “I think I’ve been with her except for five times.” She also mentioned a benefactor who helped them during their financially difficult times.

Park Na-rae expressed her gratitude, saying, “After finishing the recording in Yeouido, I ran into the PD and assistant director of ‘Gag Concert.’ We ended up drinking together with four of us, and the PD was the one who invited us to ‘Comedy Big League,’ and the assistant director is now the PD of ‘Gag Concert.’ They are benefactors to both Do-yeon and me.”

She continued, “When I suggested to Jang Do-yeon to go to ‘Comedy Big League,’ she said she would never go. About 10% of the people around us said, ‘You guys can’t even get into ‘Gag Concert,’ do you think you’ll do well there?’ I think there was a bit of stubbornness, and Do-yeon was anxious because she’s quite timid. We were already close, but we relied on each other a lot during that time.”

When Jang Do-yeon appeared, Park Na-rae reminisced about the time they lived together, diving into memories. Park Na-rae said, “How long has it been since we did broadcasts under a roof and didn’t worry about work?” and exclaimed, “Shrimp chips and seaweed are our identity.” However, Jang Do-yeon, flustered, responded, “Why do I have to find my original intention here? I’ll find that myself,” which brought laughter.

Park Na-rae also pointed out to Jang Do-yeon, “What’s really surprising is, what day is it today? It’s Wednesday. Didn’t we record ‘Gag Concert’ every Wednesday?” She recalled, “If we were in charge of checking new corners once a week, we would always get criticized. If we got criticized, there was no recording. Since Jang Do-yeon is tall, the seniors called her for corners, but I took a break. Then I would wait and wonder when Jang Do-yeon’s recording would end,” to which Jang Do-yeon laughed heartily in agreement.

Among the memories, Park Na-rae prepared a dish that Jang Do-yeon loved, catching attention. The menu included ‘Kimchi pancakes that Jang Do-yeon used to eat about five pieces of,’ ‘Stir-fried vegetables that Jang Do-yeon would eat by hand in a dark kitchen,’ and ‘Yakisoba that Park Na-rae would make after they went to a pub in Itaewon when their living conditions improved,’ all served as a ‘Memory Feast.’ Park Na-rae’s nostalgic dishes will be revealed next week.

Meanwhile, Park Na-rae’s healing cooking talk show ‘Na-rae’s Meal’ is released every Wednesday at 6:30 PM.
