Actress Go Doo-shim will participate as a special narrator for 'Korean's Table'.
In the episode titled 'The Comfort of Fermented Flavors', airing on KBS1 on the 5th, actress Go Doo-shim will step in as the special narrator in place of Choi Bool-am, who is taking his first vacation in 14 years, showcasing her warm and emotional voice that melts away the cold.
During a meeting with the production team for the recording, Go Doo-shim expressed, “If you are a citizen of our country, you must feel the importance of the program 'Korean's Table',” revealing her reason for gladly accepting the invitation to appear on the show.
Go Doo-shim shared, “When I said I would take on the narration, Teacher Choi Bool-am was also pleased,” adding, “I jokingly said that I must do 'Korean's Table', and today I ended up recording it.”
In the recording process, Go Doo-shim not only delivered precise pronunciation that made every cooking process clear but also infused each word and sentence with a rich and heartfelt flavor, raising curiosity and anticipation for what her version of the table will taste like.
The broadcast, which began with Go Doo-shim's comment, “The more it ferments, the deeper the flavor,” will explore the 'fermented flavors' found in the cool, fermented kimchi buried in the frozen ground, bubbling and savory cheonggukjang in a stone pot, and salty yet umami-rich jeotgal from Yeongdeok, Gyeongbuk, Samcheok, Gangwon, and Sinan, Jeonnam.
'Korean's Table' will air on the 5th at 7:40 PM.
