In the episode aired on the 2nd, Sleepy and Kim Na-hyun joined as a new couple on SBS’s ‘Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny’.
On that day, Sleepy surprised everyone by saying, “I haven’t received any settlement for nearly 10 years. I didn’t receive even a penny from the settlement. I tried to overcome that and made it known to the world.”
Sleepy went directly to the media to report the settlement issues with his former agency, revealing that he had been suffering from serious financial difficulties. At that time, Sleepy said, “When we were filming ‘We Got Married’, my phone was cut off, and I couldn’t contact the writers. I only ate the cheapest kimbap for one meal a day,” evoking sympathy.
Regarding the dispute with his former agency, Sleepy stated, “The lawsuit took 6 years. I won all of them,” but added, “The former agency went bankrupt, so I couldn’t receive any money. I only incurred legal fees. Anyway, I regained my honor, so I feel relieved.”
