The members of 'Miss Trot' Season 1, who revived trot as a popular genre, are reuniting.
On the 28th, Jayjistar announced that the 'Miss Trot' Season 1 TOP 10 members Kang Ye-seul, Kim Na-hee, Kim So-yu, Kim Hee-jin, Duri, Song Ga-in, Suk Hyung, Jeong Da-kyung, and Jeong Mi-ae (in alphabetical order) will hold a concert titled 'First Love' on July 12 at KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, with two performances at 1 PM and 6 PM on the same day.
The original concert 'First Love' of 'Miss Trot' Season 1 will feature legendary stages from the TOP 10 members who reignited the trot boom in South Korea, along with new performances that have never been seen before. To prepare for this, the members are reportedly sweating it out, directly participating in the production of the show and sharing their opinions for the fans who have been waiting a long time.
Previously, the 'Miss Trot' Season 1 TOP 10 members gathered in March for Song Ga-in's performance of 'Lifetime' on SBS Life's 'The Trot Show'. During that gathering, discussions arose about wanting to perform together, and to recreate the emotions from 'Miss Trot', everyone united to confirm the concert. As this will be the first performance in about five years since the national tour concert following the conclusion of 'Miss Trot' in 2019, expectations from fans are expected to be high.
The members gathered on the afternoon of the 21st to discuss the concert. On the 28th, a video of their meeting was released on Jayjistar's official YouTube channel, where Kim Na-hee explained, “Those who saw the stage on 'The Trot Show' and the staff said they were reminiscing, so we thought about creating a stage for the fans.” Jeong Da-kyung added, “We talked about what duets, dances, and other things we could show that the audience would enjoy,” raising expectations.
Ticket sales for the original concert 'First Love' of 'Miss Trot' Season 1 will be exclusively opened on Interpark, and further details will be announced later.
