YG Plus announced on the 13th that it has launched a K-Pop fandom specialty store called 'Buffz!'
'Buffz' is a combination of 'Buff', meaning 'enthusiast, fan, geek', and 'Z', which means 'people who do ~, group'. It aims to create an 'inclusive and positive fandom culture' by providing convenient usability and a differentiated fandom experience.
At 'Buffz', a variety of products necessary for fandom, including K-Pop artist albums, official merchandise, fandom bags, and photo card decorating sets, are available. Additionally, it plans to collaborate with various IPs to propose unique fandom items and establish itself as a platform that improves the inconveniences (Pain Points) consumers have experienced in the fandom market through services like fast delivery and funding.
In particular, by utilizing YG Plus's logistics infrastructure, overseas fans will be able to receive pre-order products on the day of release, ensuring quick access to artists' albums and merchandise without waiting. Furthermore, through a fan exchange space called 'Club Puff', it will support domestic and international fans in sharing fandom tips and engaging in sponsorship and Q&A about works.
To celebrate the grand launch, 'Buffz' has prepared various events. Selected fandom products will be offered at special prices, such as 0 won deals and 990 won deals for new customers, along with coupon and reward point benefits. Additionally, an event will be held where customers who complete all missions can win generous prizes such as 'AirPods Max' and 'Olive Young gift certificates'.
Currently, 'Buffz' offers a debut album of Close Your Eyes (Clyua) with exclusive benefits, and from the 19th, a fan participation event called 'Clyua Honey Combination Contest' will also take place to celebrate Clyua's debut.
A company official stated, "We plan to continuously enhance fan-customized features, including funding services, and will do our best to establish ourselves as a professional and differentiated fandom commerce platform that can grow the domestic and international K-Pop fandom market into a major market."
