'Zombie Daughter' has revealed even more exciting trivia.

The movie 'Zombie Daughter' is a comedic drama about a doting father who begins secret training to protect his daughter, who has become the last zombie in the world. It is based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name, which has accumulated 500 million views globally.

Directed by the sensitive director of 'Hostage', the film features actors Jo Jung-seok, Yoon Kyung-ho, Lee Jung-eun, Choi Yu-ri, and Jo Yeo-jeong.

Yoon Kyung-ho stole the spotlight with his Thor costume. The character Dong-bae, played by Yoon Kyung-ho, accompanies Jung-hwan (Jo Jung-seok) to an amusement park, which is the favorite place of his daughter Sua (Choi Yu-ri), who has turned into a zombie, in an effort to revive her memories. Dong-bae's overwhelming visual appearance in 'Thor' cosplay to get a discount at the amusement park is the number one laugh button in 'Zombie Daughter.'

Additionally, the hilarious ad-lib from Bamsun (Lee Jung-eun), saying "Thor? Isn't that a bit off?" adds to the audience's laughter.

Yoon Kyung-ho mentioned that the most memorable shoot was the 'Thor' costume of Dong-bae, which had an unexpected behind-the-scenes story: he was originally supposed to be 'Harley Quinn.' During discussions referencing the 'Harley Quinn' character, director Fil Gamsung suggested 'Thor' for a more natural flow, leading to the creation of 'Dong-Thor.'

Lee Jung-eun, who plays the role of Bamsun, has garnered attention for her incredible synchronization with the original character, as if she jumped right out of the source material. Not only does she perfectly replicate the visuals of the original, but she also underwent high-level special makeup to portray a character older than her actual age.

The makeup team first pondered "What age should the grandmother appear to be?" and conducted numerous makeup tests across various age groups. Each testing process took about 5 hours, making it a long journey. Focusing on showcasing Bamsun's lovely charm, Lee Jung-eun and director Fil Gamsung engaged in endless discussions to create the unprecedented 'grandma who looks like she stepped out of a comic.'

The story of 'Zombie Daughter' officially begins when Jung-hwan arrives in his hometown, Eunbong-ri, to hide Sua, who has turned into a zombie. Director Fil Gamsung thought, "If there is a zombie hiding in a quiet and beautiful seaside village, it would make for an interesting picture," and moved the setting from a mountain village in the original to a seaside village in the film. After searching various seas across the country, Namhae was chosen as the main filming location.

Through the hands of art director Chae Kyung-sun, a warm and charming 'Bamsun' house was created, giving a feeling of "turning the pages of a storybook." Interestingly, the hometown of the original artist, Lee Yoon-chang, is also Namhae. Director Fil Gamsung later found out about this and was fascinated by the coincidence.
