Among them, one young man subdued the assailant's neck using a 'choke' technique.
Netizens identified the young man who subdued the assailant as Sun Hengyu (24), who appeared on Mnet's 'Boys Planet 2'.
When fans expressed their concern, Sun Hengyu left a message on his Instagram saying, "I'm fine. I have no injuries. Don't worry."
Sun Hengyu debuted in May 2022 with the group Blanky. He re-debuted the following year with the group DV.OL, but the group effectively disbanded last year.
