Singer Lee Hyori appeared on the radio show hosted by her husband Lee Sang-soon and shared her experience after conducting a yoga class.
Lee Hyori participated in the 'Monthly Lee Hyori' segment of MBC FM4U's 'A Perfect Day with Lee Sang-soon' aired on the 9th.
Having been busy for a month, Lee Hyori mentioned, "There have been a lot of articles," referring to the yoga studio that recently opened in Seoul.
Having operated a yoga studio in Jeju for a long time, she said, "At that time, it was quiet, so I thought 'yoga studio' wouldn't be a big news item, but I thought too hastily, and when I opened in Seoul, it was a bit different."
After conducting a total of four classes following her first class on the 8th, Lee Hyori said, "Since it had been a while, I couldn't remember well," and added, "I was a bit flustered about what to teach," which drew laughter.
Previously, the one-day class tickets for Lee Hyori sold out instantly at a price of 35,000 won. After a fierce ticketing battle, she remarked, "Since they came (to the class), it felt awkward to tell them to close their eyes. They must have come to see Lee Hyori."
She continued, "It's fine if they just came to see Lee Hyori and then found yoga interesting," adding, "It would be great if they registered at a nearby yoga studio after coming here."
Lee Sang-soon, whose wife is a yoga teacher, actually exercises through Pilates. He said, "Yoga doesn't suit me well," while Lee Hyori responded, "There is no right or wrong in yoga," promoting the benefits of yoga and eliciting laughter.
Meanwhile, Lee Hyori married Lee Sang-soon in 2013 and lived in Jeju before moving to Pyeongchang-dong last year after 11 years.
It was reported last month that she opened a yoga studio in Seoul, and classes have been ongoing since the 8th.
Many students left positive reviews after attending Lee Hyori's classes.
