Comedian Kim Young-chul revealed that he has developed another illness after battling paralytic ileus.
On the 5th, a video titled "Health Warning: What Happened to Kim Young-chul at a Drinking Party?" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Kim Young-chul Original'.
In the video, while having a meal with the production team, Kim Young-chul said, "Haven't I lost some weight? I used to weigh 80-81kg, but now I'm at 76-77kg. But I can't seem to gain weight."
He was diagnosed with paralytic ileus in July and received hospitalization treatment. Paralytic ileus is a condition where the large or small intestine temporarily becomes paralyzed, and Kim Young-chul mentioned, "I think I ate too much spicy food."
Afterward, Kim Young-chul revealed that he has developed another illness. He confessed, "My ear is making a clicking sound."

He explained, "It's not ear stones or tinnitus. I went to a university hospital, and the doctor was familiar with this case," adding, "A certain singer is also experiencing this, and it is said to be eustachian tube dysfunction caused by rapid weight loss."
He continued, "There is only one way to fix it. If it clicks, you should tilt your head forward. When I asked if there was medicine, they said I need to gain weight again. They said if I gain weight back to 81kg, it will definitely return to normal."
Kim Young-chul said, "I've never heard anyone tell me to gain weight in my life, but it turns out gaining weight is harder than I thought," adding, "I drank alcohol, but I still can't gain weight," discussing his slow recovery.
He then humorously shared, "I made a ridiculous comment to the doctor. I said, 'Doctor, I can't gain any more weight. (I've lost weight) My face is at its best right now,'" which elicited laughter.
