Webtoon artist Park Tae-jun denied the rumors regarding a property division lawsuit related to his divorce from ex-wife Choi Soo-jung.

In an interview with OSEN on the 28th, Park Tae-jun stated, "It is true that I divorced Choi Soo-jung, but the mediation was completed last August, and all procedures have been finalized," adding, "The property division lawsuit is completely untrue."

He explained, "The divorce discussions started early last year, and we reached a mutual agreement without a lawsuit, opting for a consensual divorce rather than a contested one." Regarding the reason for not disclosing the divorce, he said, "I didn't want to make it public. It wasn't a good story, and I was concerned it might harm the other party, so I quietly moved on."

Park Tae-jun and Choi Soo-jung became a couple after 10 years of dating, registering their marriage in 2020, but ended their married life after four years. Park Tae-jun mentioned the marriage registration in the MBC entertainment show 'Radio Star' that same year.

Park Tae-jun began his career as a webtoon artist after appearing on Comedy TV's 'Ulzzang Generation' in 2009, showcasing works such as 'Appearance-Centric', 'Life is a Mess', and 'Self-Study Fighting'. He currently owns three buildings in the Gangnam and Songpa areas of Seoul under his corporation J Studio, with industry estimates placing their value at over 140 billion KRW.

Choi Soo-jung debuted in 2010 as a member of the Korea-China joint girl group 'Lotte Girls' and formed a connection with Park Tae-jun the following year by appearing together in the music video for the song 'I Might Die Like This' by singer Ram.
