Singer Jeon Somi shared the secret to her significant height increase in her 20s.
On the 27th, Jeon Somi appeared on the YouTube channel 'Lee Yong-jin's YouTube - Yongtaro'.
On that day, MC Lee Yong-jin mentioned, "It seems that the ability to perform choreography comes from height," to which Jeon Somi agreed, saying, "That's right."
Starting off by saying she is really tall, Jeon Somi revealed, "I was originally 169cm. But after doing Pilates, I became 173cm," adding, "4cm is a lot. (My neck) has stretched out," which surprised everyone.
When Lee Yong-jin asked if it was the effect of Pilates, Jeon Somi explained, "I've been doing Pilates for a long time, but I think I grew taller because I was trying to correct my posture in a short period."
Now in her 10th year since debut, Jeon Somi is part of the senior line at her agency along with Taeyang and Rosé.
Jeon Somi reminisced, "When I first joined the company, the office was about the size of this studio," adding, "There were many music-based producers, and about 15 employees."
She continued, "Now there are 150 employees. We even have a company building in Itaewon."
In response, Lee Yong-jin praised her, saying, "You are the founding member," and jokingly asked, "Isn't it Jeon Somi who made it to this level?" Jeon Somi humorously replied, "At least the parking lot," which brought laughter.
Jeon Somi gained immense popularity after finishing first in Mnet's 'Produce 101' in 2016, becoming part of the project group I.O.I. She later debuted as a solo artist, showcasing her various charms, and released her second EP 'Chaotic & Confused' featuring the title track 'CLOSER' on the 11th.
