On the 15th, Bae Jung-nam posted on his SNS, "80th anniversary of liberation. I am grateful to all the fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the independence of our country, and I will never forget their noble sacrifices," adding, "Along with my precious Taegukgi from the 1950s."
He also included hashtags such as "Liberation Day," "80th Anniversary of Liberation," and "Long Live Korean Independence."
Bae Jung-nam certified the Taegukgi he has collected over the years. They vary in size and shape, from faded flags to worn and torn ones.
In 2023, Bae Jung-nam played the role of Jo Do-seon, the top marksman of the independence army who carried out the assassination operation of Ito Hirobumi alongside Ahn Jung-geun in the film "Hero." It is known that he has been collecting Taegukgi since then.
