Hawonmi, the wife of former baseball player Choo Shin-soo, revealed the luxury foreign car she received from her husband.
On the 6th, a video titled “Revealing my car without Choo Shin-soo knowing (Benz Maybach)” was posted on the YouTube channel ‘Hawonmi’.
In the video, Hawonmi said, “My husband doesn’t really like revealing cars, but I want to show everything on my channel,” as she unveiled the vehicle worth approximately 280 million won.
Hawonmi added, “The drivers who take me around are really happy that the car drives well.”
Hawonmi, who stated that she drives the car almost every day for commuting, explained, “My husband bought it for me when we came to Korea.”
However, Hawonmi wanted a 'small car that she could drive alone,' but Choo Shin-soo recommended an SUV. She said, “I told him I wanted to buy a small and cute SUV, and he said okay, but when this car came home, it was too big.”
When the production team mentioned the price of the vehicle, Hawonmi jokingly asked, “Did he buy it on installment?” and added, “I’m driving the car that my husband wanted.”
Meanwhile, Choo Shin-soo and Hawonmi got married in 2004 and have two sons and one daughter.
Choo Shin-soo's accumulated salary is reported to be 190 billion won, and the couple owns a large mansion of 5,500 pyeong and a second house in the United States.
